Description
...after completing the two earlier tutorials... [link] [link] I had the urge to do a proper render using the ideas. So it only felt right to post the specific details that would allow anyone else to create the same image, and bring to a conclusion the previous information on using Dformers.I hope the above is self explanitory, if you have tried the previous tutorials on the ripples...
The final render can be found here... [link]
EDIT; There is an early tutorial here that used Dformers when I was first trying them out! [link]

no problem! Let me know how you get on; it can be a bit fiddly to get it just right, but the results are worth the effort I think!

after all the complaints, I stuck with DS3! using Reality / Lux and going back to basics does all I need so far...
Let me know if there are any differences with Dformers and ds4, and I'll see about looking into them! (maybe...)

I started out with Poser 6 so long ago I could never get my head wrapped around DAZ at the time and it is even harder now but I have had help getting DS4Pro set up to look a lot like I have Poser set up so it is getting easier.

Great work with the Dformers! I'll have to try this. Now if you add some additional secondary turbulence to the flat surface of the water through either normal or displacement mapping, you would have what essentially passes as a photo. No question about it. That's the only give-away is the mirror-like perfection of the rest of the water surface. Awesome stuff, Martin. Hope you start posting more works soon.

thank you! ...yes, the water is a bit pristine! It could do with some noise on the surface... hmmm... now you've got me thinking again!
