Description @SuperBoomTurbo

...remember this one from our last chat on fog... maybe it will help?

I use the same kingdom of Marakesh model as Paolo's original tutorial on the fog prop. (tut found here... [link] )

One very scaled down mesh light outside the building as before.

I took an existing texture file, made a copy!!!, and coloured the black squares in with the fill colour in paint shop pro 5. Then with the fog prop around the building, it comes out like this. Easy stained glass... if you don't have the model, you could just create a texture file as here and use it...?

Does that help any?

EDIT:-
The window is set to glass (in this case there is no alphamap in this, just put it into the texture of the glass material instead...)

NOTE// This uses the 'Reality' plug in for Daz studio...

EDIT2:-
I have now completed an image using Sacrament, and as explained in the text for it, I rendered and combined two layers to allow a more subtle control of the fog effect - in fact it is very subtle compared to that shown above. The final image is here... [link] and includes the links to the two layers as well... `¬)
I hope the additional info helps anyone who is playing with this idea!

It certainly does! Thanks Mbin(z)
I think I know where I went wrong. When making the window texture, I swapped the black areas for transparent in the alpha channel. Wonder if I should go fix it...
I'll post a few images in a bit if you could point to which ones you think are the culprit.

Disregard that. In compiling images, I found my issue. Thanks for the tut, too!
