Description My rendition of Little Red Riding Hood.  I have to say, I was really influenced by golden age illustrators when working on this piece, people like Kay Nielsen and Virginia Frances Sterrett.  Their work is so beautiful, and I highly recommend that anyone who enjoys my piece looks up theirs as well.

This took a LOT of time because of all the detailing that I did in the trees - I'd say it totaled out to around 50 hours.  Let's just say I watched a lot of Law and Order while making this one.    I did all of it using pen and ink, a red Prismacolor colored pencil, and 18x24 Strathmore gray toned sketch paper.
