Try to learn what Apophysis is doing. Some of my best ideas come when i am not using Apophysis, but i think of something i can try

wow, what a beautful fractal... im not usualy a fan of fractal, because its normaly just the same ol boring spiral, but this... is different, i like the smooth 3Dness of it, and the colours are sweet

good job

I make my fractals with Apophysis. It is a free open source flame fractal program. You can get it here [link]

thatgothicchick In reply to ??? [2007-04-04 09:58:14 +0000 UTC]

absolutely amazing. may I ask if you used any special scripts to achieve this? was it done with apophysis beta? and what transformation does it tend more towards?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MichaelFaber In reply to thatgothicchick [2007-04-05 01:48:47 +0000 UTC]

It was made with the latest Apophysis beta, with some test additions. There were no scripts used. Scripting can't make any image that can't be done in the Transform Editor. In fact it would be harder to create something like this with a script, since you wouldn't have as much visual feedback. The main variation is JuliaN.

Glad to see you entered the weekly theme this week, it was a very hard vote, but...well, I'm not going to tell you if you got the vote or not.

The colors are great, but the overall design of the harsh julian with the smooth swirls is a great contrast.
