Description
Let me be your Guardian Angel - FULL 3D RENDERCinema4D R11.5 RENDER
Advanced Renderer using GI (Global Illumination) and PyroCluster and a complex light and reflection system.
This is a MultiLayer & MultiPass Render. The final image resolution is about 5000 pixel.
The Angel is a V4 Mesh with improved texture shaders.
Everything in this image is 3D rendered. I used the C4D module PyroCluster for the clouds and the C4D light system for the rays of light.
This is my compliment version to my female angel render here:
First render tests here:
The 3D wireframe of RAPHAEL can be seen here:

I just followed the link and saw the wireframe rollover you mentioned. It's amazing. How long did it take you to finish this piece? I don't know anything about 3D. But I can tell which 3D job is great. And this one is very awesome. I love the muscle and the wings most The cloud look pretty soft. By the way, Do you think you should make the ray of light look a little bit softer?

Could be a good idea making it a little bit softer...
Thanks. I made his flash rollover to show a little bit how its done...
On some renders before I showed the mesh in an image like here: [link] or had them linked to my website [link]

It is a very interesting page. You have so much content to manage!
Do you use a CMS (content management system) or do you handmade html or php?

Thank you, Mike
I just designed it all in photoshop, and then I sent each part as file to my friend [who is programmer] to lay it all like what I have designed. I'm not a programmer, so I can't lay it by myself.
By the way, I like your new ray of light, now, it looks soft like natural ray should be. Great job

By the way "Alexander" here: [link] was my first complex 3D human render. I had the most fun doing this. I had houndrets of feedbacks and comments on the first version of Alexander that helped me to get him more realistic and life-like. You can see his evolution over 3 versions here: [link]

I love the progression of the 3 versions. You certainly have an eye for fine details, from the body hair to the glistening of the eye. Congratulations on the DD for the final version! To be honest, I have focused mainly on 2D digital work, but your 3D artwork has opened my eyes to a whole new world. Your 3D art is truly impeccable!

Thank you May! You are nice!
Raphael was one of the greates 3D render project I have ever done. I am quite proud of "him".
Even the clouds and the light rays are rendered direct in 3D.
If you have flash installed in your browser you cann see the 3d wireframe here: [link] by moving the mouse over the image and back...

Wow, and wow again. Well done, this is truly an excellent piece of art with great everything! But to single out somethings of brilliance are the lighting and cloud/smoke mood effect you have created!

Hi, no I've never heard of Pyrocluster is sounds very hi tech, I wonder if it's available for the Mac? I'll have a look.
I'm normally always to busy rendering to do any modelling but I would love to give it a go. Normally I can find pretty much anything I need for pictures, there are so many free sites with goodies on. Sometimes I just need to change or update textures. and Hey Presto!
Thanks for the info, Paul

I am glad you like my angel versions... I still try to get the human skin and eyes as realistic as possible... Working for that on the light and shadow systems...
