Let me be your Guardian Angel - FULL 3D RENDER
Cinema4D R11.5 RENDER
Advanced Renderer using GI (Global Illumination) and PyroCluster and a complex light and reflection system.
This is a MultiLayer & MultiPass Render. The final image resolution is about 5000 pixel.
The Angel is a V4 Mesh with improved texture shaders.
Everything in this image is 3D rendered. I used the C4D module PyroCluster for the clouds and the C4D light system for the rays of light.

"melde Dich einfach" means something like
"contact me at any time" so melde=contact rough translated...

you know what would be something... if you could work translucency into the feathers. You know, where the quill and overlap is dark, but the feathery parts are thin enough to allow light to shine through, like this but not as extreme:

Amazing! Love the "small details" like freckles on his body and the light beam across his legs. It's things like that which give it more realism in appearance.
He has such an expression of concern and caring on his face, I think.

*fave'd* ... as I did with your lady. The larger wings do create a stronger presence in the sky, without their being overwhelming. Obviously these lovely beings don't fly by merely moving air, and their pinions shouldn't be as wide as a football / soccer field {grin}
Your simplicity also works well here. He's not overadorned with jewelry or draped clothing. The loincloth and a more streamlined sword suggest his power. The stitching and the hand guards, respectively, are just enough ornament.
Ich bin auch fuer 35 Jahre Deutschsprecher (seit dem Gymnasium) aber leider hab' ich zuviel Vokabeln vergessen ... man muss diese Sachen uebungen {sigh} ... kurz zu machen: ich mag diese Engeln, Fluegel, Wolken gern!

The wing size of the male are 2.5 the size of the female angel. The appear smaler due the perspective view. I hope he is able to fly. She is sure not!

I had 2 problems. What do I use to dress him and still show his heavenly body?
What Hair should he have. I decided to give hime hair that fits his feathers and his wings in color and structure.
