Description
Basic Photoshop skills required (e.g Layers, able to install downloaded tones/ effects)Due to a high demand, I decided to finally bring out a tutorial on how I draw my manga 'Shadow Sprinters'
It tells almost everything I know and learnt off my own self taught experiences with manga drawing.
I'm not a professional, I merely started drawing manga pages only this year, though people still wanna know how I did it ;;;;
All I have to say is....
KEEP PRACTISING~!
I only learnt through lots of practise and analysing existing manga for inspirations XD

Just one question...what image resolution are you using? (as in, how many pixels/inch?)

I can only see the dimensions sizes 425x632 and 1000x1487 but not how many pixels/inch (for example, photo resolution is usually 300pixels/inch)?

quick question did u draw on computer the images or did u draw on paper first then scan into computer... i know this is not a very important questions but i have trouble with drawing with my tablet... to be honest drawing in general... oh one more thing how did u get your skill to be like that? like how do you practice or something...

How do you make your lineart and inked areas so smooth like that? Whenever I do mine, they end up looking dull, and pixel like. Is it the scanner, or my drawings...?

Sorry to bother, but where did you get the sfx? Were they drawn out or did you download them? Because I can't really imagine anyone rewritting 'boom' and 'vroom' every time they appears...

Uhm, it doesn't matter as long as it's with the flow. Just look around some existing manga XD

Thank you for this extraordinary and useful tutorial. I used to worry about tones a lot, since I was very confused on how to use them. I might try for a bolder, b&w style now just to see what it looks like.
Do you happen to know how I can draw speed lines on Paint shop pro by the way? I have a pressure sensitive tablet, but I can't seem to draw straight lines that can change width between points. It is very frustrating.

Ah okay then, nevermind. It's probabl high time I try to get photoshop, there are more tutorials for that than any other programs.
I forgot to ask this last time, but can you tell me which texture you use to make your picture more alive please? The one you put on as an extra layer.
