Description

A native of India, Ali grew up in the small village of Khandekar and developed a great love of motorcycles and racing. Ali became a world champion motorcycle racer who often takes part in endurance races for charity.

It has yet to be revealed how Ali became an agent of MASK nor what his team specialties are, but since joining Ali has become a loyal and dedicated member of the team that believes his efforts will help maintain peace defending the weak from terrorists like VENOM.

Ali is a very philosophical man who often quotes life lessons his father or the Hindu religion has taught him making him a very calm and mellow person even under the most intense pressure. Ali has become close friends with his fellow teammate Ace Riker who has a similar temperament and outlook on life and the two are often partnered together on missions.

Ali wears the Vortex mask, which can create focused intense air bursts creating winds upward to 100 miles per hour at maximum power from high speed micro turbines hidden within the face of the mask.

Vortex mask can focus these winds or bursts in any given direction he chooses in various intensities. Vortex can shoot focused air bursts powerful enough that they can dig into solid earth and create a four foot deep trench.

Vortex has the ability to create miniature tornados with maximum winds comparable to an F2 scale tornado which are powerful enough to peel the roof off of a house, push mobile homes off their foundations and/or overturn them and move or blow vehicles completely off their wheels. At maximum Vortex can roll a box car off the train tracks its sitting on.

Vortex can work at maximum output for thirty minutes before depleting its power supply or overheating its miniature air jets system.

Ali pilots Bullet (aka Bandit) a high speed street bike that has been modified for racing that can transform into a fast attack hovercraft.

Bullet can reach a maximum speed of 215 miles per hour on land and 200 miles per hour (173 knots) on water in hovercraft mode.

When converted to hovercraft mode Bullet’s wheels split open and lock in a downward position to form four high speed turbines that allow the vehicles to hover on a cushion of air allowing it to travel over land and water. Bullet is far more maneuverable in this mode but loses some speed compared to its motorcycle mode.

By boosting power to the turbines Bullet can perform ten foot vertical jumps while standing still or at traveling speed allowing it to jump over vehicles as long as a city bus.

Bullet’s tail light hides a grappling hook attached to ten feet of high tensile strength nylon rope that can be launch from the rear of the bike in any mode. The grapple can be used for a variety of uses including towing light vehicles on both land and water, capturing opponents or latching onto objects to halt Bullet or “slingshot” it around tight corners.

Bullet’s front headlight converts to a giant high energy long-distance stun gun. Scientifically known as an electrolaser, Bullet’s headlight stun gun sends a powerful electric current down a conducting ionized track of plasma somewhat like lightning.

Bullet’s stun gun’s laser-beam is intense enough that its electromagnetic field is strong enough to rip electrons off of air molecules, or whatever gas happens to be in between, creating plasma enabling it to travel several yards before losing focus and intensity. Similar to lightning, firing Bullet’s stun gun also creates a sonic boom which the vehicle, pilot’s uniform and mask have been reinforced to be immune to it.

The stun gun headlight can kill or incapacitate a human depending on its intensity or seriously damage, disable, or destroy any electric or electronic devices it targets which makes it perfect for disabling enemy vehicle electronics in hit and run attacks.

I was never really happy with my original Ali Bombay art piece because Ali, his uniform and especially the mask didn’t come out like I had originally envisioned. So I redid the piece completely. I used an actor as the model for Ali’s face to make him look realistic facially since I felt my original piece made him look like a caricature.

I reused a favorite pose of mine to give Ali more of an imposing, muscular and lean posture and gave the leathers he wears more of a glossy vinyl look. I made the helmet more streamlined and closer to his toy/cartoon version than my first attempt which looked like a weird ass space helmet.

The only change I kept from my original art piece was changing the color of Vortex mask to match his uniform. I don’t know why Kenner thought it was a good idea at the time, but they molded his mask in dark purple and black while the rest of his uniform is red, white and blue racing leathers. It just looked odd and I hated how it clashed with the colors of his inform so I changed it to compliment the design of his suit on top of match its color scheme.

I also rewrote his biography and added in more details.

Sterling work sir - especially the description of the mask's mini turbines - oh and they do work! Experience - but that's another story

Must admit, now thinking about it, Al and Ace did work a lot together....

Thanks so much

Okay

Yeah they were almost constantly teamed on missions in the racing episodes. Same with Buddie and Boris.
