Alright, here on popular demand is a line art tutorial from start to finish on how I begin and finish a black and white line art drawing. i've gotten lots... AND LOTS of notes asking me to make a tutorial on how I do my anime drawings. Many of you have never seen anything other then the finish product, and I've even been asked if I sketch before I draw. Well all your questions will be answered in this tutorial.I hope it helps everyone who is looking to improve their line art or just need to learn how to do it. Well this is my personal way of line arting. So Enjoy!

All line art done in Open Canvas 3 pro with a mouse and Wacom Drawing tablet

It is the pencil tool in Open Canvas set on black.

Thats cool and all but if you dont have your pressure sensitivity on then you wont get a weighted line effect, will you?

More like the first.. but no, the way you form a character begining with simple rounded shapes.. (plus to the end result I would also try tracing it with Illustrator cs2.. results are mostly suprising! )

Well first you gotta have an idea of what you want to do, and start first with the head and work your way down. its almost like drawing a stick figure first
