27" earthenware w/ slips and underglazei only had this little guy for like 1hr. He came out of the kiln and went right to the gallery. The show opening is tomorrow...and i'm hoping i get a good response. This is a much larger piece than my other figures.
The show is called the ABCs of Craft. Each artist was given a letter...mine was S...and we were supposed to do a piece about that letter. I decided to do a humorous piece about my inability to spell. In a rather ironic turn of events i managed to overlook the fact that all pieces were supposed to be limited to 8" in any direction. Whoops....that dunce cap takes on new meaning.

Spectacular. Shame about the 8" limitations, though. Nevertheless, I'm sure you will get a great response.

well...hopefully i'll have some pieces available online pretty soon. i'm exploring the world of "packaging for shipping"...guess we'll see what kind of fruit it will bear.
I've been thinking of posting a couple of pieces on ebay for a while (as a lower price alternative to finding them in a gallery- only the people who bother to read my DA and livejournal would even know they were there)...i'm still thinking that might be a good idea.
