Your photoghraphic eye is so sensitive, savvy, probing without being intrusive. You discover, frame, and capture the essential humanity of your subjects with such grace. Also, from picture to picture there is a wonderful surprise in technique; you permit sharp focus to follow gauzy regard, and so forth. Fine, fine work.

Actually.... I did not go to Paris.
I was 200 km away from Paris. But didn't go there. I'm sure I'll get a chance to do that in the future, anyways.
I was in Taize and the environment of the village.

Okay, I love this photo so much and it bothers me that it is a daily deviation because usually people try to analyze Daily Devs until they don't mean crap anymore. This is what I got out of the photo...
It reminds me of the fact that everything you do changes the whole universe...for example: If I changed what I had for lunch and decided to have something new and I happened to be allergic to the new food, whatever it was...and died, then everybody's life would be changed. It's an amazing concept.
I love how the back of him is blurred. It resembles movement lines somewhat but it's amazing how he looks so still. It's a wonderful photo indeed. There are so many thoughts in his head and it looks like he's resenting NOT doing something which makes sense because it corresponds with your description, this is a wonderful deviation, keep up the good work.

LOL Mostly, it's just a good image and I knew it when I did it. I really appreciate comments like yours... they are special and making being on dA such a pleasure!

You never know why or how something gets chosen for a DD. I've had friends with DDs and it's not always their best work but it's all good anyway. One really cool thing is you meet so many new deviants and see galleries you might never have found otherwise. I love that!
