Kind of busy around here.. yikes!!! And on top of all that, there is a huge family vacation at the lake happening so I don't have much time on line. I'll catch up though. I just have to go look at the sites of those who comment... have to! New and wonderful art to see.

I can see you've spoke about your lensbaby a million times already, but I'm thinking about getting one. Your photo is an amazing example of what I was hoping to try with it. I was wondweing, do you think it's worth the purchase?

I haven't used it often or had it long enough to answer your question well, but I love having it for those times when it's just the effect you are going for.
My son has one and he did a whole series for a film. He also rarely uses it but find it's just great. I do like it and it will take some time to fully utilize... so basically, yes.. it's worth it if you like those sorts of effects. Hope that was not insanely vague!

Thanks so much! Yes, it's done with a "Lensbaby" which is a very low tech thing... basically a tube that has different sized aperture rings to put in manually. Not something you use all the time.. but fun. I've admired your site for some time... great work.

The most basic of camera... a dark box with a hole so light can come in. [link] is a link to one site about them.

A friend of mine does extraordinary images with them.
