The first page of my beaded cupcake tutorial.This can also be done with bugle beads that are half the size, using a base of 6 instead of 8, and using ONLY size 15 beads, to create a micro cupcake~!!!
Always remember to tie your work and weave in the ends. Cutting too close to a knot can lead to the knot eventually coming undone. If you like, put a tiny dab of glue on the knot to further secure it a bit better.

but i was wondering if i could use 3 [or 4] seed bead instead of those tube beads? i saw another person do that but i dunno if it'll work

Yes, you can, but it may take a few more passes through with the thread for it to hold shape
Don't pull the thread too tight or the beads may buckle against each other and warp a little. And make sure that when you open the pack of beads, and look, notice there are different shapes of the same bead all in one package, try to get as many of the same shape and size as possible, it will help the cupcake to shape evenly and look more professional
Here's an example:
Some seed beads are flat and doughnut shaped, others are tall and slightly tube shaped, there are those that have the same diameter across as they are tall.
As for the size 15 seed beads in between, you may have to play with them a bit, because there are different shapes of those in packages as well, and sometimes you may need find some that are more flat to go in between, rather than the tube/taller ones
