Here's a preliminary coloured map with reliefs. Not my usual style, so I had a lot of trouble with it.

The colouring and some of the relief methods come from Arsheesh's tutorial on Cartographer's Guild: [link]

Elysion is meant to be a Japanese/JRPG-style high-fantasy world as the setting of a story of seven kids who get sucked into the world and become great warriors who defeat the evil emperor, etc. This is just one event in Yamada Tarou's* life that happened in middle-school. He was the alchemist class, and his elemental theme was transmutational Fire. (Too bad the alchemist class is one of those that become überpowerful at high levels, but of course the party got in power to around the equivalent of 50 Final Fantasy levels. So enough to defeat the last boss, achievable with normal progression.)
