This has been the culmination of a project months in the making! (Though it's also a project that should've been finished a months ago.
)As is mentioned in the title this is part 1 of a 2 part story.
-I hesitate to mention this but, for those offering critique I must make a clarification; This has been a project months in the making. I'm not asking you to hold back or pull punches, rather just be aware that my art has improved since I originally sketched this thing out. Please take a look at one or two of my other recent pictures before you tailor your advice based on this picture alone.

I do not read fanfics very much, but has this been done in any fanfic? I have an awesome idea that would focus around this kind of story that would even probably be on level or better than My Little Dashie, but unfortunately I do not have the time or patience to make it myself.

Well, what do I do after 9 days of military field training and being a man out in the woods? I come home and look at little comics of ponies. They make me laugh, smile, and some bring a tear to my eye like this one. Ponies are a good way to destress. This is a very nice and touching comic and I really like how Applejack is an amazing big sister but she knows she can't ever replace their parents. Can't wait for number 2.
