A quite Wordful tutorial i did on how to use the pen tool, learn and master the pen tool for those who dont have tablet and pwn those who have.
theres really quite a mouthful of text, but they really explain clearly, (I hope) on how to utilize the Pen tool powerz.

I have read a good many tutorials on the pen tool and you make it make sense in literally .02 seconds. Kudos to you. I own a tablet, but I still can't quite get those pesky lines right. I did all of my lineart in GIMP for a long time because I have thought very poorly of the pen tool... This totally works! Thank you!

I just use one stroke whenever I use the simulate pressure brush... but the way you did it did make me think.

The pen tool has boggled my mind for years and now it's secrets are revealed to me!
If you're wondering why its been bugging me for YEARS its because the first time I used photoshop I couldn't figure out how to draw lines so I used a different program xD Recently I started fiddling with CS3 and I figured out how to make lines with the pen tool, but I didn't know how to ink it xD
Thnx again! I can now take my art to a whole new level muahahaha!

Umm.. I get lost around step 4
I drag the anchor but when I right click to click on stroke path. It's not an option.

Sorry if it's small, but you can tell that the words stroke path are the faded and light words. Meaning, you can't click on it. So what did I do wrong?

I have too questions what is"Hotkeys?" and how come when ever i try to make that curve i always end up having a flat line stil on the bottom? Sorry im very slow with these things

Very useful, but I have a problem... The line only covers the center of the path for me, so I end up with a big clump in the middle and non-existant lining on the ends... How do I do the line actually blend out but not to nothingness, like yours? o.o

You have simulate pressure clicked, when you choose stroke, uncheck that box
