Description
The second half of this week's assignment for Character Creation. A character based off a positive trait I admire in others...and I realize I didn't quite hit it with this one, but the idea here was Mercy/Merciful. What I was thinking here was...(and the definition of mercy is, essentially, kindness/charity despite entitlement to justice) was that the character had set aside his own right to prey upon the birds, and rather than doing so, embraced them. Anyways, I was really excited about the design idea, and I'm pretty happy with him overall...hope you guys like him!Related content

Then do it! what's stoppin' you? He'd make a solid portfolio piece, and if you want to render him for that purpose: why not??

Oo! I love it, though you make him big and somewhat intimidating you left his teeth out which makes him/it much less threatening. Clever!

The line art not the colouring.
Thanks for being so awesome!

I see your keeping the same formula as with the other two! Bad trait, dark looking, good trait bright and colorful. Simple, but definetely works.
I've got to say that I prefer yur bad traits drawings, mostly because of the imagery you put in there. Quite complicated, yes, but's fun to discover.
In here I love the fact that the monster has made a collar with his own theets.
You know, this character looks like the guy who was into drugs and stuff, and after going to therapy, he decided to stop and dont do it ever never again. Its just the same, but changing the drugs for birds; to make sure he won't eat them anymore, he even did rip off his theets.
Gotta love your cholor schemes, btw. They always look balanced.

I'm glad you like it!
I actually spoke with one of my favorite professors about arranging an independent study for next semester, in which I'd essentially be (I think, possibly) developing a pitch-book for Alfonse & Domingo...characters, environments, story, tech designs etc. I'm thinking about it...and then that would be something I could shop around. Not sure about the public availability, but maaaaybe

Wow, that's so exciting! I want one :O That would be awesome if A&D got picked up. It's certainly better than a lot of the stuff that gets published.

This is adorable! That's probably not something you'd wanna hear from a serious project standpoint, but this character is absolutely lovable. His expression is so dopey and fun that I can't help laughing. I see that he even ripped out his teeth! Aww...

It's interesting how this character pulled his own teeth out and used them for a necklace. (that's right, isn't it?) It's like not only is he merciful and kind, but also happy and proud of what he's done. I've always loved the concept of a gentle giant, this is a really great piece!

It's the little details that make a drawing wonderful, isn't it?
