The second half of this week's assignment for Character Creation. A character based off a positive trait I admire in others...and I realize I didn't quite hit it with this one, but the idea here was Mercy/Merciful. What I was thinking here was...(and the definition of mercy is, essentially, kindness/charity despite entitlement to justice) was that the character had set aside his own right to prey upon the birds, and rather than doing so, embraced them. Anyways, I was really excited about the design idea, and I'm pretty happy with him overall...hope you guys like him!Related content

Hahaha, and I'm usually trying to get outside of my comfort zone with something more colorful. I've always painted kind of monocromatically. . . just how exactly, I'm not entirely sure. I like colorpicking from the base colors I've already painted, so that makes for a much more muted feel I think.
