This is one 'bot that's been waiting to happen since I had the idea of Jellybots at all.Guys, meet Duncan. (based again on another friend of the same name) He's the older-kid and a bit of a mystery. I think he might serve as sort-of an instructor to the younger kids. He's, like, the Jelly RA.
Generally, teens as old as Duncan can no longer interface with the Jelly. But as one of the Candyman's first pupils, he's been able to grow and change with his suit. He's aloof and a little sarcastic. He designed the sphere floating alongside him in the suit himself; is that it's kind of his 'tell'. He's able to punctuate his expressions with an emoticon of his choosing. I'm hoping to get some fun juxtapositions out of the idea.

It's a fun coincidence, but I have a character almost the same as him, his name is
Ikarus. He is also a teenager smart for his age, and gives the other kids advice or
scientific facts.

very cool concept of placing an "emoticon" with his true emotion next to him. it reminds me of the stuffed animals autistic children use to communicate their feelings. It makes the character transparent . very original.

Haha; oh the joy I get from your designs. The hair is priceless. Dreadlocks-ish back and the --pfffft-- facial hair. XD The latter being my favorite, hands down. What an idea.
I can see lots of potential in the emot sphere! Ah gooossh, my head is spinning with the hilarious (contextual) possibilities.
But again, it's all a very tongue in cheek approach, and I love it. (is that the right phrasing? ahah)

I appreciate that his jelly hair and his real hair don't match, but complement each other. I love his warm colors--very mellow, which mirrors his personality and design. also, thank you for not making him look like a Rastafarian stereotype

These are great! Original, inventive and they all look like they belong in the same universe. You straddled the line between unique and consistent.
But heroes are only as good as whom they fight. I think it's high time for some villains! Maybe a disgraced student of the Candyman, who stole some jelly tech (white, possibly) for themselves?
