Yay!I just finished my Flight comic a week or two ago, and since then I've been up to my eyeballs in house-hunting and socializing (to make up for my months of monastic devotion to my comic)
This is the first piece of art I've done for myself since!
Another character in what quickly becoming the Jellybots Universe (tm) (
). He is tentatively called the Candyman...his part in the story is sort of a mentor ala Miss Frizzle More than that I cannot say, because I am still deciding what the story IS. In the meantime, I have a lot of ideas of other characters I want to develop. More soon!
Oh, I almost forgot...the dial is to change his hair color (bottom) and he has another one on the other side to change the styling (not pictured)

Well, hm. I don't know Candyman's personality, but if he's like miss Frizzle, he might end up naming it something odd.
Like Pinapple! I dunno. First thing that came to mind. XD
Though you could call it Disco, since his environment changes like a flashy Disco Hall.

GAH. I dig that fish so much! He's got such a distinguished, warm way about it. Creativity to the max! I mean, you could have just made him have colourful hair, but colourful, translucent jelly like hair that seems to actually mimic water and even has a fish in it to drive that point.
It just gives me the giggles all round.

Gory is a sufficiently typical and awkward name that satisfies me greatly! (these are the criteria I always commit to when naming little animals XD)
My head kept ringing "George" when I first saw it, so I find that very funny. XD

i WISH i could come up with something like this....his hair is water! and a fishbowl!
he strikes me as the type to carry a small handtowel instead of a handkerchief, and pretends its still a handkerchief. because he is a Gentleman. and therefore feels the need to be Proper.
oh, and his pipe tooootally blows bubbles.
