So: I have this idea...
I really should be working on other things, but I just got a new Cintiq for use at home, and this idea I've been sitting on for months (maybe even years?) wanted doodling. It's few sketches, so I can put this out there and come back later...maybe even do a short comic or something.
It's kind of a..Herge/Tintin-meets-Ipods-if-robots-were-made-of-jelly thing. You know the type.

Ha, sounds to me like an excuse for you to make loads of digital paintings with awesomely rendered glowing jelly, but the general concept sounds pretty now-ish and has a marketable non-gender specific combo of cuteness and weirdness, like a more colorful Tron in jelly for a potentially broader age range audience. And as far as I'm concerned, anything inspired by Tintin has something very right with it.

Well...heheh...yeah. You've got me. I want to draw jelly and design wobbly suits. That, and I wanted to use bubble fonts
And as for the Tron thing...yeah: once I saw the designs for the new film I knew I'd have to commit myself to paper quickly, or I'd miss the boat completely! Really, in a way, I'm almost just thinking that I'd like to make toys
We'll see if it goes anywhere...I don't really have a story...just a mood and a strong desire to draw jelly.

Also - congrats on the Cintiq! I've had mine for years and am absolutely in love with it - even if it's giving me some trouble now (I don't think my graphics card gets along with it very well at the moment) - and it makes digital art so much easier.

I love this concept! If robots were made out of jelly, they could be produced everywhere, even when all Earth's metal has been used to make toaster ovens. Also, the color schemes match my favorit flavors of gummy worms.
I think I want one for Christmas.
