Description Yeah I made another one of these realistic Pokémon drawings. I know you have questions like "why would you make Victreebel a bird when it's clearly a plant?" Well personally I don't think I'm gonna make Pokémon into plants, I just don't feel it's fitting since even the plant Pokémon can walk around and eat more like animals do so I'm probably gonna try to interpret them all as animals instead and I thought to potoo bird is a bit similar. I must admit the idea of potoo Victreebel was much better in my mind than how it turned out, that Weepinbell is kinda cursed and unnerving.

A wide variety if Pokémon can be found in the tropical and subtropical forested areas if the Pokémon World, including many that are less commonly seen and have been misidentified as other things by people who only see brief glances of them. One of these is Victreebel, which is often misidentified as a large carnivorous plant by those who see it just briefly and from a distance in the poor light conditions of the jungle floor, but is actually a massive species of bird Pokémon. It is a bit understandable why it may seem to be a plant to some as this ambush predator can stay in a single spot and barely move for days on end with its jaws agape as it waits for passing prey, and it even allows algae to grow among its feathers to further appear like a plant and its green wings can look like leaves.

Victreebel are actually quite a rare form of a more common creature. These birds are born as a smaller juvenile form called Bellsprout. Bellsprout are visibly different from Victreebel and these young birds have yet to fully grow in their feathers, with their head feathers growing in first which makes them look as it they have large heads on skinny bodies. Most Bellsprout that make it to adulthood only ever become an adult form called Weepinbell, which has a more even feather distribution across its body. Most Bellsprout stop growing after becoming Weepinbell, but some make exceptional growth even after this. Certain individuals will grow much larger than other Weepinbell, and grow a long feather plume on their head believed to be a display structure. This form is known as Victreebel and also develops a pattern similar to a pair of eyes below the lower jaw, most likely to divert a predator's attention from its real eyes. Some believe that a rare mineral commonly called the leaf stone is responsible for this sudden mutation in certain Weepinbell and as this mineral is usually found deeper in jungles this is where Victreebel usually occur.

All growth stages of this species are ambush predators. The young are precocial and almost immediately after hatching, a Bellsprout already instinctively knows how to start hunting prey. This species tends to stand very still for long periods of time, possibly days, with its mouth wide open. The saliva of these birds contain chemicals that give it a sweet smell similar to nectar, which can lure in unsuspecting insect Pokémon that may believe the still-standing birds to be some kind of harmless plant as their plumage may resemble wild flowers and the algae growing on them makes it further convincing to the bugs. In addition, Victreebel has been observed twitching its long head plume while hunting and some believe this may be to make the plume look like a wriggling worm Pokémon to attract larger prey. Insects lured towards their mouths are usually caught and swallowed whole, but these gluttonous birds are known to also try eating prey too big to swallow whole. Luckily for them, their saliva is also quite acidic and this helps them bring down larger prey which may include smaller bird Pokémon. Due to their large size of up to 1.7 meters, Victreebel is also known to make attempts to swallow humans whole, which may include their trainers, but these attempts almost always end in failure as a person does not fit down their throat. Some believe that Victreebel may also bite down on its trainer's head as a way of showing affection.

A common sight in many areas, Ledyba are a type of insect Pokémon, specifically a beetle. This insect is quite sensitive to cold weather so it thrives better in warmer areas, and in temperate zones it may form mass swarms to hibernate. They are also rather timid as they are prey to many larger Pokémon and thus commonly travel in large swarms for defence. Ledyba also has a larger, more mature form called Ledian, but this size increase doesn't really drop the number of species that preys on it much. It is still also quite weak and no trainer really uses it because it kinda just sucks in battle. Sure Ledian has more-developed limbs and is known to kinda punch its enemies as hard as it can, but that's not exactly very hard so when faced with enemies it's better off just fleeing. The fake eye spots of the thorax of Ledyba and Ledyba can mislead opponents into attacking a different part of the body but being such frail shits they tend to die if hit by anything at all. These bugs are omnivores and these in the picture are boutta get their asses clapped by plant birds.
