Description
This is the first of a series of covers I'll be doing for a fic I'll be writing about the experiences of 17 year old Near, after the event of L's death.

Light was brought to justice and since then Near took on the title of the new L to solve murders and prevent atrocities across the globe.

One of the cases he comes across is a hacker named Häschen, (German for rabbit). No one's ever seen them, all they know is that they're good, have never been caught, and that they have various governments secrets which they fear will be sold to terrorists or the highest bidder.

Near at first isn't as interested as he's certain these politicians aren't in the right as they claim to be regarding the secrets Häschen "stole" and suspects that they have other reasons for wanting them out of the public's eye.

But what does intrigue Near, is that apparently Häschen is one of the last people who spoke with L about something very grave indeed.

He discovers L was one of the only people if not only person that ever saw Häschen's face.

The web be he unravels while searching for this Master hacker leads him on to a much more disturbing and dire case involving a cell of Kira worshipers, still at large and still at work to make the world more like him, and have been patiently been waiting for 2 years to exact their next move, believing that Light was prophesied and that the next Kira will be chosen on New Years Eve, the Eve of Death.
