~ CHARACTER OVERVIEW ~

Sybil is a sassy, overconfident snake-witch with a long checklist of things to do; she's here to travel the world, taste delicious food, blog about all of it, and sink her hands into sand and water everywhere. She prefers to live on the go, not settling down to hold a permanent job. Instead, she sells custom potions to travelers (She carries a portable cauldron that lets her mix some mini-potions on the go). She's not afraid to get in a fight if it really comes down to it and won't let herself be talked down to, swindled, taken advantage from, or pickpocketed ... She can come off as aggressive, but she knows how to stand up for herself. People say that life sucks and what are you going to do about it, but Sybil's determined to live for herself, live completely free, and not take criticism from anyone. Life's too short to live up to anyone else's expectations for you, and sometimes if you want to be happy, you need to disappoint a few people in the process.

Sybil loves traveling and experimenting with foods from all over the world. She loves learning about new cultures, seeing new things, and hiking outdoors... Not to mention sunning herself and swimming at beautiful beaches. She's gone river rafting, snowboarding, hang-gliding, sky-diving, and more. She loves being free and can't imagine tying herself down to any person (or any one place). In addition to traveling and making potions in her free time, she also creates art (Mostly graphite drawings and caracatures) and sculptures. She loves art fairs, swap meets, flea markets, state fairs, carnivals, and parades... She often helps out by offering magic face paint- her own special creation. She's gentle and friendly with children, always encouraging them to express themselves, be imaginative, and follow their dreams. She's resentful towards parents who seem to stifle their children's dreams or force them along a certain path, and she'll let you hear it, too. She always speaks her mind and some people may get a bad first impression of her that convinces them she's salty, opinionated, and overbearing.

When it comes to magic, Sybil's priority is definitely blessings and curses. She mixes many potions that can leave you feeling refreshed or ill, and if she thinks you're a scumbag, she might switch your order on the sly. Or she won't. It's just business, after all, and she's not responsible for what people choose to do with her products. She's especially interested in designing anything that may be dangerous, elaborate, or a practical joke, as she's very playful and loves to laugh and see others excited and friendly enough that they can tease others too; she believes in being a good sport and doesn't get too angry about anything as long as the intention behind it was lighthearted. She argues sometimes, but keeps her cool and states her facts and opinions easily. It's very difficult to change her mind, and if she's especially annoyed, she might pull out her cell phone, roll her eyes, sigh, and scoff that you sound "Just like my parents." She doesn't talk much about her past, but it seems like her family never approved much of her lifestyle choices, as they would prefer she settled down nearby with a husband and a house. Please... And miss all this? There's a whole world out there.

★ Friendships - Please ask my permission before writing a story about your villager being close friends with mine. Being acquaintances or having a backstory where they exchanged a few words in passing is acceptable. Your character is permitted to have a crush on this character (if they are of an appropriate age) and you are allowed to reference this crush in your art and writing. Ask me before depicting my character with a crush on yours.

★ Flirting - I give permission for characters of an appropriate age to flirt with this character (Flirting = verbal banter, mailing letters and gifts, offering flowers, buying presents during RP, referencing their crush on my villager during both private and public RPs, small physical touches such as pats or flicks, or serenading from outside their house). Do not draw your character wearing my villager's clothes. Ask me about hugs and kisses in advance. Ask before legitimately stalking my villager in a creepy way (such as sneaking into a private office, breaking into their house, or making a secret shrine).

★ Consent - Follow CC's rules of consent if depicting my characters using invasive abilities towards another member's character. Ask my consent before using invasive abilities or showing violence towards my characters in your group submissions or RP.
