I believe in the idea of that if you really enjoy something you can accept criticism about it. You don't have to agree with it but you accept that what you love is not perfect and that not everyone enjoys it like you do.If you don't think like this chances are that you are a rabid fan or a fanboy then and will get REALLY defensive when people critique what you enjoy. Of course if those other people just throw randoms insults and call something shit without any (logical) elaboration then they are dumbfucks or rabid themselves.

Shame that nobody understand that critic show how we are not influenced by the product we consume.
It hapenned in Fan Fiction communauty when we send constructive critisism and then, we get blocked.
Critic isn't an insult, it is how we understand the product and our point of view.
Everyone is different but it shows how flourished is our world. I will gadly accept them, even the offensive one, which I was looking for.

I feel the word fan boy lost its meaning these days, because people throw the word at people & not knowing the definition. People would say if you like something or defend it you're labelled as a fan boy. Β The same thing with the word weeaboo. Β Plus, I highly agree with this post. Β Fan boy is something that they're blinded with their obsession & can't tell the negative side about media related.

Hey if you can't acknowledge the faults of something you like, then you are a bit of a fanbrat. Everything has faults and downsides, no matter how "perfect" something is. Hell, people can find faults with something like Citizen's Kane or The Dark Knight or any other "epic/classic" movies for example.
