Description
Dogface Butterfly visiting a Narissus. The reflection of the grass makes the butterfly appear more green than yellow. [link](At first I thought it was a related Sulphur Butterfly called an Alfalfa, but they have more rounded front wings) So here is some more warmth in the middle of winter for my friends braving the cold. Enjoy!

They are very pretty when the sun catches them.

It was amazing to me too that it blended in so well. In the air it was bright yellow green and at rest it became one with the grass and was outshone by the little yellow suns in the centers of the narcissus flowers.

It was so cool having it just decide to stop like that for me. I'll let you see it full size sometime.

Isn't it though? Came right up to me, waited til I switched to macro mode, let me take a 3 shot burst and flew off.
