Some leafs do have water on them.

That's really nice - the light caught in the droplets is great and lovely amount of detail on the central leaf. I'd crop some of the grass to the right as it doesn't add much and would increase the focus on the really good bit?

Maybe I should. I played a bit with making sure it felt balanced to me... but I think that balance would also work. Thanks.

Nice one,
what objective did you use?

Thanks.. I can tell you've put up some beautiful work lately, too... sorry I'm so far behind on commenting...I'll catch up soon when I can look properly.

The built in zoom lens on my Fuji S5200 is pretty cool for a non-SLR camera. I can't change lenses, but I don't have to with its capabilities.

Optical Zoom 10.0x /38mm-380mm on 35mm equivalent
Aperture Range F3.2 - F8, in 1/3 EV increments
It is a non- extending Fujinon lens (11 elements in 8 groups with 2 aspherical elements and 2 anomalous dispersion elements... I don't know optics well enough to really understand that part.)

Hi,

I'm sorry too for being far behind on commenting. I'm really busy too.

I think that's the same kind of camera I have. Thanks for the information!

The contrast is great. Water drops are one of those things that are hypnotizing.

Thanks...The drops really stood out, and full size shows each little one magnifying the leaf. I did adjust the gamma a little bit so that the background would distract less.

Entirely too much green here, so I am glad to share... The grass is tall more than a month ahead of schedule, and allergens are above 8 on a 10pt. scale. We never got much frost to help things die back the way they usually would.

I would trade you. We are on track for 4-8" of heavy wet snow tomorrow...

Unfair! I was looking out yesterday and there was still snow on the mts in the distance, but the thermometer here showed 70° F. You are getting too much winter and we aren't getting enough. But at least we got rain here... and maybe some drought relief for farmers if that last warm storm didn't melt more snow in the Sierras than it added.

Yes, it is unfair. Tomorrow when I am shoveling the white stuff that weighs about 100 lbs/ shovel full you will probably be able to hear me yell;
"Why didn't I stay in California"...

Nah...sorry, can't hear you over the highway noise here. Every place has its tradeoffs.
