Description
Oh dear. Wouldn't be surprised if both were to blameWe'll forgo the questions on just why they're trying to browse the web on a dirt patch in the middle of the countryside. No doubt it seemed like a great idea at the time. Still doesn't explain the fire...
Once again, we have ~McSadat to thank for the design of IE! Clicky:

If you had my laptop, you'd understand where the fire came from. (Its a Toshiba Satellite, notorious for over-heating.)

My laptop is also a Toshiba Satellite. I used it for 4 years, every freaking day, about 8 hours a day. I cleaned the ventilation once. Never had troubles with it overheating. You sure its not cause you're sitting with it in your bed or something? U_U

I've had mine for 3 years now, averages 14 hours a day, I clean it once a week and it always sits on a hard surface, 90% of the time that surface is a chillmat. I've even opened it up to see how dirty it was; nothing, surgically clean.
It idles at 114F, averages 125F and has hit 174F once. I suppose the AMD dual-core and monstrous Radeon card doesn't help it at all.
I think I just simply got a bad one.
I can't wait for my college expense check to get here; there's an Acer Aspire quad-core with my name on it! [link]

It still doesn't save me from their vicious bombardment of its advertisements on YouTube I'm getting sick of it, knowing that even the NODC (of NOAA) avoids it like the plague

Adblock plus extension for chrome and Firefox
I would greatly recommend it

I'll have to ask my brother on that.
I don't MIND SOME of the ads YouTube shows, especially when they show appropriate content that matches what the demographics are (video games, Tobuscus fans, since he's been hired to do a lot of endorsement lately). I just wish they didn't show the same exact thing EVERY TIME I go to a new vid.

Hah XD
Sounds good to me! I don't mind YouTube ads much myself unless the internets slow. I originally used Adblock so I could browse without terribly annoying popups and ads (don't you hate reading articles with flashing sidelines XD )
It took me a while to notice YouTube stopped giving me them as well. Well, just a suggestion

Wait how was Derpy able to get on the internet with IE? A more realistic comic would have started with a young Granny Smith and ended with her older self. Just saying.

Derpy's done it again, I discovered that her derp cannot be contained myself earlier. As soon as she entered Photoshop for my latest animation, it was a constant cycle of crash, bug, crash, bug, files lost, frames ruined, bug, crash.
