Description: On Earth, forest loxodonts are the smallest of the 3 living elephants, but still the 3rd largest living mammal. Most forest loxodonts lived in small herds, consisted of either a mother, and several offspring, or several females, and their offspring. Forest loxodonts have 5 fingers, and 4 toes, just like Asian elephants, but unlike their savanna cousins. In addition, that they're unlike all elephants, which their herds lead by each of the matriarchs, forest loxodonts don't interact with other herds. But half-like them, male forest loxodonts are highly solitary, but only that they associate with other herds during mating season. Males have dominant hierarchy based on their size.

Hard to believe that they're more closely related to the European straight tusked elephant.
