Description 12x16 oils on panel--I wanted to incorporate the vehicle into the landscape more than I had in the previous paintings. This was underpainted in monochromatic alkyd oil, so it would dry in a few hrs for overpainting. The overpainting was done in one session using thin paint and a limited palette

The way the truck is sitting by a natural background looks awesome!
It gives the feel tht the truck belongs in its grave by the stream, Unless my eyesight has fucked up again.

Thanks- limited palette is all I ever use- I dont like having too many colors laid out- i would rather intermix the few I use

Thanks- actually I find it easier than having many colors to have to harmonize, but each painter has his or her own ways about things

Wow, this is amazing, you have a talent in painting. I could never do something like this. if i saw something like this for sale I would expect to buy this for at least $200.
