I have no clue. I try to come as close as possible to the original, so i have to rounden the corners.

Titlebar: dark to light gray and round edges.
Dock: Put it a bit more down, like this: [link]
Finder : a bit more like this: [link]
I have a macbook for iOS development so if you want a screenshot of anything just ask me
Still looks good, Will this work on windows 8? if so, can you please give it to me when you're done?

Thanx for your input. Really appreciated.
The titlebar already has a gradient. Not very good visible because this is a simple printscreen.I should use a better screen grabbing software. What do you mean with round edges? They are already rounded (Maybe not perfect).
This should imitate mountain Lion and so i think finder should look like the updated screenshot. If you have the time, please have a look again. I've read lion has only grey icons in finder by default.
I'm not sure if this works on Win8, but i willtry it.If yes, i will upload it for you when it is finished.
Thanx in advance for the screenshot offer.I will surely need some to finish this.
Have a nice weekend.

On the round edges: that was a mod on my mac, so never mind that (the top bar).
Finder looks better now
Actually i have never worked with lion, only snow leopard.
Have a great weekend too!

Titlebar : gradient from dark to light gray, no seperator between the apple logo and finder.
font is lucida grande (everything)
sidebar title (Favoriten and Gerate I think) should be like this : [link]
Other than that Great work !!!!

Thanx for being helpful.
I improved it meanwhile according to your hints.
The gradient is maybe a little bit tricky, because the titlebar is made with two different programs which both have their own background.Hopefully i can manage it to look seamless.WIP
Not sure for the sidebar. I think this is Leopard, but i wanna imitate Mountain Lion.I will search Youtube for some vids.

Reflections on the dock icons would be a nice effect to see. It adds to the illusion. (Like.. fake reflections of course)
As for the window border, the button on the far right of the window is no longer there. (if I am not mistaken that is a button.)
and as DevilishDB said about the taskbar.. "it looks flat and it has a black line under it and it is meant to be a gradient of dark to light grey up to down, slightly transparent. Also there is no seperator between apple logo and Finder"
Other than that... it's good!

Thank you so much for being helpful. Reflection added, button and separator removed.
Maybe the taskbar is a little bit tricky. It is made with two different progs which both have their own background. Hopefully i can manage it to make it look seamless.

How did you make those buttons near the 'back' and 'forward' arrows? Is there a program?

If you mean how to get them on this position, it is BorderSkin.

And it works on "Windows 7" x64? Which skin you are using?

PeterRollar In reply to zydrius32 [2013-02-14 20:07:12 +0000 UTC]
It works on x86. I have no clue if it works on x64.Simply try it. It is portable, so if you don't like it simply remove it. No need to install.
The skin is an experiment only for this virtual machine.

Cannot try it myself because i have no x64. The first start is a little bit tricky. Click on the exe and close the open window asap. If any window is open while BS loads it will crash. I have it in autostart and wait til i see the trayicon.

With 'open windows' do you mean only explorer windows or all opened, like "Google Chrome"?

PeterRollar In reply to zydrius32 [2013-02-14 22:57:34 +0000 UTC]
I mean all open windows no matter what it is. BS tries to skin everything. After you managed to run it, you can add some things to a exclusion list.

Looks great! Only problem I can see is the top menubar - it looks flat and it has a black line under it and it is meant to be a gradient of dark to light grey up to down, slightly transparent. Also there is no seperator between apple logo and Finder. A good screenshot would be here: [link]

I never searched with Bing, only with Google. It is true that there are a lot of screenshots, but there are not much with open Windows. That's what interests me most to see the borders and buttons.

But be warned. Installing it needs some basic knowledge about customisation. It is no one click job.
Merry christmas to you too.
