Start menu logo should have been transparent instead of black. Otherwise, where can I download this theme? Is it visualstyle or blinds?

This is the default Windows 8 desktop. I only made the startmenu for it. Good idea with the transparent logo. Maybe i will change it.

There are shadows on mountain lion and they are definitely to big, to hard and ugly.Looks very cheap. That's the reason why i haven't added them til now.

Findexer doesn't need real icons.You can use simple pngs.Search for a good quality screenshot and cut the pngs in a size of 20 pix with GIMP or whatever.That's the way i made it.
Btw. I made a version with integrated statusbar meanwhile. Which one looks better? Tell me your opinion, because i'm not sure.

No, BorderSkin isn't buggy. Only many people don't know how to handle it. With a proper configuration it works fast and stable.And you need a fast processor.
Btw. I made a second version with integrated statusbar. What do you think? Which one looks better? I'm not sure myself.

well, it looks like it's mostly stuck on leopard, i can no longer give mac advice, as my mac is no longer updateable

I have googled for hours to find some good screenshots, but for any reason nearly all Mac users only make screenshots of the blank desktop.Extremeöly boring: Finderbar, dock, some icons and a wallpaper. Always the same since years.Finding shots with some windows open are almost impossible to find. And if they are about 400 pix of size.
I think there is not much visual difference between Leopard and Lion.Should be correct as it is now(95 per cent sure).

well there minor asepthic changes. mainly the new launch pad, and new skeumorphism. aside that the UI is almost as identical as Snow / Leopard. and well.
Mac users are Boring.
Try to seek some blogs and whatnot, they go quite app specific, but they may highlight more about the interface.
