Great tutorial! Wonderful work. It's understandable that there needs to be some kind of average in order to have a point of reference. ^^

Yeah, for art purposes, it easier to learn and adapt by starting from an average base. Once you know the average, you can manipulate it much more naturally.

I've already received my fair share of PC comments on this already is all. People complaining about weight, blah blah blah. Fat people not fat enough, fat people too fat, skinny isn't skinny, muscular isn't muscular enough...etc.
But thanks, haha.

Ha, thanks again! I can come across as a bit curmudgeony sometimes, ha.

Just would like to make a correction for the fat distribution thing. Men actually store more fat in the stomach area (beer bellies and such), women store more in the pelvic area (a bit lower than the stomach).

Rather impressive, I I can only say, Moebius and Corben are (In my Opinion) some of the best, though they mainly uses just some idealized versions^^

Phobos-Romulus In reply to ArchonW [2014-08-31 19:52:38 +0000 UTC]
Yes. Moebius is a bit more grounded in his anatomy, while still idealized. Corben's anatomy looks flat-out strange, but it still works perfectly.

Okay, I stand corrected: Wasn't that hard to find, but the Art of Tanino Liberatore is well... unique. Exeptionelly good, and I really feel ashamed of my own now, but it has some weird touch. I like it!
Thanks for that!

Just a question, for the height, what approximate measurements would you consider with every height

Phobos-Romulus In reply to Rawaa-E [2014-07-22 19:00:09 +0000 UTC]
Again, it varies across the board, and since people's heads are such different sizes, measuring by heads is not a standard.
As for averages though, children would most like be between 3.5-4 ft, older children 4-4.5 ft, teenagers are approximately around 5, and adulthood 5.5 ft, and seniority being 5 ft again. Once again, these are based on average findings.
