I would rather have a bracelet that says WWSD (What would Scorpion do?). www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtdGbo… I always loved this fatality.

In all fairness, this is the correct response to someone using their phone in a theatre.

I’m sure Jesus would NOT do that. You’re just using your religion as an excuse to do bad things.
(Of course I’m only saying, “you,” as a general term for hateful religious people who take things too far.)

Being good is a matter of opinion in that book. After all , didn't Jesus say his followers must love him more than they love their own fathers and mothers?
Yeah, in Matthews 10:34 -37
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. "
Also Luke 9:59-60 Jesus won't even let his followers bury their dead parents or say farewell to their families before abandoning them =
"And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. "
Lets not forget how he cursed a Fig tree to wither just because it didn't have any fruit on it. Never mind it wasn't the season for it.

Well this is the problem with that book, really. We in fact don't know how it was back then because not only the youngest texts in the new testament were writen / edited (shall we say... censored?) at least several decades after the crucification. And it even does not include all gospels - IMHO mostly because they say something the church (!) few centuries later didn't want to have in their holly book. Also the texts in many places says something different from what we think they say because the meaning changed, but the worlds did not (e.g. term "virgin" was at these times used for women more like a suffragates today, not a pure girls - if you understand what I'm trying to say). Anyway, without wanting to be offensive, if I want to go into extreme, the New Testament says not what Jesus said, but what the Church wanted him to say. From the few (and I really mean few) shifted meanings I know about, Jesus comes out as entirelly different person the Church is trying to sell (deliberately chosen world) him to us.
And no, I'm not christian. And I think that the citations you put out are excelent reasons one should not be a christian.
