Description
About The MOCGravix is one of my older MOCs, and these photos are simply updates of him to show him off. I'm thinking about rebuilding him so I wanted good photos of his previous version before I completely redesign him. This was something I had forgot to do with Crixus .
Other photos of Gravix and the Mech he drives can be viewed here .
Bio
Gravix is a member of The Defenders Of Virtue . I'm rewriting his bio so I don't want to write much here. He was recruited by Archimedes for his expertise in ordinances and projectile weaponry, not to mention his heartiness and eagerness to get into the thick of things and take on the threats head on with no fear. He's a bit rough around the edges, and his sense of justice is a little skewed, but overall he fights the good fight.
The weapons he carries is either two or sometimes a single pistol, his main weapon, an assault riffle, and then a sniper riffle when the mission calls for it.

There are some interesting techniques as usual, but the legs seem to break the flow of the design. Maybe a bit more armor could help.

Thanks. yeah the legs definitely lacked. But that's cause he had to fit inside Mechus. It was a sacrifice I had to make to fit him into the mech.

Thanks.
It was off to a nice start. I personally think it lacked a certain intrigue. Simplicy in MOCing is fine but that means you need to emphasize parts usage more. Like with my Mini-MOCs, simple connections and concepts but I emphasize one or a few specific parts in those. I think Ori has potential for that same thing.

I tell ya what, the day the Toa Inika popped up was either a good day . . . or a really messy bad one depending on who you talk too.
What with the preponderance of the Inika Torso to the Inika heads that did not glow in the dark . . .
Oh well. Things like this remind me that it was worth it.

Been there too my friend,
I worked at one place seasonal and was promised a full time job and they would let me in the union.
So I came back for two years with the hope of a permanent position. Kept hearing the bullshit your doing a great job, keep up the good work, etc. The day before Thanksgiving the boss let all the temps go said your not needed and me with them, no job no permanency just lies. It sucks to be used and broke right in time for the holidays.
I had no insurance and was making a quarter of what the union workers made, I even was made to load a tractor trailer up by myself to the top with heavy boxes( it took half the day), just to get fucked in the end.
They had the nerve to call me back the following season, I told them to go fuck themselves, literally! I had found a summer job that paid very well and had a weekend one too so I was all set.

That blows. Companies like that really don't care about people its all about what works for them. The peopel that work for them are just expendable assets. Makes me sick. I'm glad I'm not working for target now. I laughed my ass off when I heard they got hacked. "HAHA SERVES YOU RIGHT YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES!" I've heard other people talk about working at target and they say its pretty bad to.
I really need to hold onto this job because man is it fucking awesome. They're super strict about safety, meaning they give a shit that you don't kill yourself, and they're very loose about dress code and shit like that, as long as its appropriate for the work. The lady said "sometimes it looks like people rolled out of bed and came to work, but that's okay, they're here." So I'm looking forward to being able to wear my regular clothes. Also I got the same shift as my dad, so I'll be off wednesdays, and weekends.

I am glad you will be working on the same shift as your Dad, at least there will be someone there you know. Its always harder the first day somewhere when its just you. I wish you well my friend.
Weekends off and Wednesday too is awesome. I always had Sunday off at my last two jobs, we had mandatory overtime, just another way of forcing you to work six days a week.
I hope you are all set for the time change, I know it can be hard. I worked 7+ years at the factory on third shift and then had to get used to getting up early for school and then work when I went into the medical field.

We won't really be working together, which I'm glad. I see his dumb ass enough as it is. Since I'm just a temp for now they usually get put in different places than the actual Amazonians. So I'm fine with that. Plus they're opening a whole other side of the warehouse so I may end up over there, even if I get on that's probably where I'll be. If I have no interaction with my dad while at work I'm okay with that.
Yeah that's awesome cause my buddy Stefan is off wednesdays to. So I'm psyched that we'll both be off on the same day, and now we can go do shit since I'll have money.
I'm used to being up all night and sleeping during the day. I prefer it anyways. Its just lonely as fuck when noone's online and there's no one to talk to.

They're the top retailer, for now. Walmart used to be the top till Amazon cornered the online market. There's a company based in China that controls 80% of the market. It could potentially be Amazon's rival. There's always room for new competition.
That's alright greg. We never IM anyways.

Yeah that is pretty sad. He doesn't understand where Gabriel went. Poor little guy. Maybe pick him up and give him some extra attention?
When Casper was put down Kelly did the same thing, but only for about a week. He was acting pretty crazy and we were tying to keep him outside to but he got in fights with the outside cats and getting his ass kicked. He was spraying so keeping him inside wasn't an option. Poor Casper. So we eventually took him to a shelter and I doubt he got adopted out so we're pretty sure he got put down.
Yeah things are okay for me so far. I hope you're doing okay Greg. I know losing a four legged friend is pretty sad.

So true my friend.
Anything in this world that has the ability to understand love and can give love deserves to be treated at the very least like an equal to humankind.
He saved my life and I could do nothing but see him die. Life is fragile and a gift and love is worth more than any treasure in the world. I would give up all that I had and own and live in a baron apartment just to spend one more day with him and have his companionship. To see that little tiger face looking into my eyes made me forget about everything that bothers me.

Awww Greg I'm so sorry to hear that. I know it sucks. Vets are so expensive if you can't find one that does low costs or free healthcare for sick pets. I don't think we have anything like that around here either.
He knew you loved him, that's the important part. You're such a loving, kind, and caring person. Anyone who knows you even just a little bit knows that, I know that, and I can guarantee he knew it to. All we can do is our best to give them peaceful happy lives where they don't have to fight for food or shelter and can have peaceful quiet lives indoors where they don't have a care in the world.

Those fucking vultures. Sickening really. I'm so sorry to hear that Greg. There was no humane society type shelter around there that did it for cheap? That's just terrible. I wish there was some kind of law that would force these places to offer some kind of cheap service. But pets are optional and so forth. Its sad really.
You're welcome. Work was alright. I can't do the job they put me in cause I can't read the numbers under the bar codes of all the product I'd have to sort and stow away, so I'm going to be moved somewhere else I think. Hopefully I'll be transfered out to the inbound docks, I got put out there last night and that just seems more my beat. Rebinning looked easy to, but it was so easy I could see getting mindlessly bored there. That would suck. I hope I end up in the inbound dock. Not to mention I don't have to see my dad that whole time which is nice. I see him enough at home. HAHA Hang in there buddy.

No the nearest Low cost was a cities away plus it was six and all the vets I called were closed, and he needed help right then so he got taken to a animal emergency center about ten miles away, it was the only place open.
The "humane society" here is a joke , that's where both my babies came from and they charge $200 for a cat. I had to take both to a vet right after getting them because they ear and eye had infections, even though they said they were all checked by their vet and healthy. all they care about is making money here.
I saw your FB post but thats good because at the very least you will be doing something you can do and might end up liking it. I hope you get the inbound dock my friend.
Thanks, I'll try.

Oh I see. Wow that's scary. I'm sorry to hear that. I didn't realize it was so sudden.
I don't know if its any good here. I've had the same cat for 15 years. If I were to get another cat I'd probably either take in a stray and have it get it's shots, or adopt a kitty from Pet Smart. There's one that has kitties there to adopt and I'd love to bring one home and let it have a nice big home to move around in instead of a small cage.
This is turning out to be a disaster. I turned in my paperwork and still I wasn't able to get back to work today. Fuck My Life.

Yeah exactly. And we think of a house as being small but we're much bigger than them. Kelly has plenty of room to roam around in our house. She's never been one for like cat cratcher climber things and getting up on high places. So we don't have anything like that. She lays on the back of the couch sometimes and at my grandmother's side on her bed at night, and that's it.
Thanks Greg. I'm feeling sorta detached at this point. Like I try and try and consistently get shit for it. :/
