Melanthios was a minor character in the Odyssey, he was a goatheard who gets killed. I liked the name, and the loose association to goats, so "Satyr" became Melanthios.I'm not at all satisfied with this MOC. Its probably going to get taken apart and I'm going to start over. I like the torso, but seeing as how he's supposed to fit inside The Innenrrad I probably won't even be keeping that. about the only thing I rather like on this MOC are his hooves(even though they make him impossible to stand), the color scheme, and I kinda like the way the head came out, but that's also probably too big for the over all scheme of things. I also kinda dislike that I made his weapon so similar to the satyrs in God Of War, which was the main inspiration for this MOC. However, Melanthios is a good guy, so making it that similar to something that's an enemy in the game kinda defeats the purpose of making a good guy satyr. Again, not at all satisfied.
Overall, I'm thinking that a Satyr is the wrong thing to have piloting the Innenrrad since space is so limited. I really could use some feedback on this one. Feedback, comments, and critiques would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Thanks for this RTT. 
To explain the color scheme, I wanted the brown against the purple because it does kinda clash, but also blends since they're more cool colors. The Gunmetal was because he's supposed to complete my toa team, and Gunmetal is "the brown characters" color. Him and Gravix/ mechus have gunmetal.
I think I will end up making an alternate themed figure for the innenrrad, and maybe keep this as a stand alone MOC.

Wow. Firstly, this is actually rather awesome. Sure, there aren't that many really interesting things about it, but I must say I really like him.
So to start with, I think the hooves are great. Using the upturned Vahki head fits rather well- considering the size of the MOC, It's a very good decision and I think that the way you've implemented it into the foot design is very innovative.
Now, moving onto the colours. What I'm going to say is that I do like the colours, very much so, and that they're a very interesting mix. However, I don't think they suit this MOC in particular. The brown is fine, since a satyr is half man half goat then it goes well with the idea of him having fur. (....A furry MOC? What is the world coming to......) The thing is, the purple....just doesn't work. While it would work on a selfmoc or something where the design can be whatever you want, since this is supposed to be based on a mythical beast then the purple has no place here. Maybe blue or white would work better, but I really don't see why you've used purple here. Maybe you just wanted to make a purple moc..... if so, you should have left it until next time. Like I said, I suggest maybe using white instead.
Overall, Whilst the colours really let this one down, I love the design- the scythe-type weapon, the hooves and the shoulders.

This would be pretty cool on its own, but it wouldn't pilot the innenrrad very well.

Well he doesn't even fit. That's why he got scrapped and replaced with the version that is, well...not so awesome. The current Melanthios is just a stand in though. He'll need to remain that small, but I'll need to make him not so standard.
This version how ever is going to make a reappearance as the former Atlas-Melanthios' brother and predecessor as stone toa in the Defenders of Virtue.

Its totally different. You wouldn't really expect the pilot of this thing to be something other than a standardish looking human.

So that's how he turned out to be! I have never seen that color scheme before, and I quite like it. The only thing I'm concerned of is those purple liftarms acting as the middle of the legs. They look a tad too thin.
You're right, he doesn't look like someone to plot the Innerrad. I imagined this sleek, helmeted driver.

That's good. SOme people liked it, some didn't think it worked. I did though. Yeah, I didn't have much to work with with this color scheme. A lot of the brown has been used up by Moto, and I don't have a whole lot of purple to work with anyways.
Hmmm yeah, a helmet would be cool. He wasn't right for this(build wise) at all. I don't think a satyr will work for this vehicle. I'm thinking of redoing crixus into a satyr, then making the Innenrrad pilot more conventional.

nicely done, but i think that you should rebuild the legs to maximize stability, and the face should have more ......features, but otherwise 4/5

Yes, his legs make him very difficult to stand. That's why I gave him that weapon, so it could be use to support him as well.

I like his shins, but for a purely biological (and slightly magical) character, they perhaps don't look so appropriate even if they look cool. The main problem with his head is the use of bohrok eyes, I think. You want something small and dark looking for eyes, and something that resembles a nose.
May I also suggest replacing his white hooves with black ones if poss?

I'm going to completely redo this MOC. I'm either gonna make him smaller, to pilot the innenrrad, or use this color on a regular old humanoid figure, and build a Satyr in a different color scheme. I'd like to do a titan version, but I dunno. I don't see the point in doing two satyrs. Hmmm Yeah I didn't care too much for the end results on his face. The head itself is alright-ish, but didn't like his face. I've been thinking about what to do with this all day. I think I'm going to have to put this project off. I don't think I'm ready for it. I don't have the parts to really do a proper HF/bionicle integration, and to do it well. :/
