Description
Okay, this is my second giant monstrosity. His name is mototaur. He is a minotaur with roller blade feet. He has a pneumatic (air) powered hip/ suspention system. He also has a bohrok head morning star for a weapon. This figure is more mechanically technical than Ryakk, my other insanely large Bionicle MOC. I plan on rebuilding this figure, because functionally, he isn't right yet. There are still a lot of bugs to work out. Look wise I think he's great. He is very menacing. When his torso and legs are fully extended he measures at about two and a half feet. The wheels on his feet allow for smooth movement if he were to run or attack. Again with this model, all the joints move and are articulate. He even has those weird minotaur legs. This model presents a lot of technical and mechanical challenges that I have already and need to have met. I enjoy working this figure the most because he is the hardest.*update* I changed this picture on this. His feet have been updated and redone, and they're also about to be redone again. But for now this is the current version.

your welcome.
the biggest and best moc i ever made is this one: [link] it took me half an hour to build and 3 extra days due to leg problems (they are not poseable at all) and adding detail. unfortunately hes only about the height of roodaka if not taller. and besides karzani roodaka is the tallest.

Hmmm it looks cool, but definitely could use improvement if the legs aren't poseable. The build is initially impressive but the color scheme is nonexistant. My MOCs don't get to where they are in a matter of days, its an one going process for me, an continuing evolution building upon good designs and improving upon bad ones. Since being here I've seen other MOCers use this method and it really works wonders. So my advice to you as a MOCer is keeping working on your MOCs, let them grow.

thats great advise. thanks! the reason why my moc grownome doesnt have a color scheme is because i actually made it when i was 12, now im 16. back then, and i still dont, do colors mainly because of my huge lack of parts. i have alot but mixed colors. when i have, for example, 1 arm piece thats blue and i need another theres no more. that really aggrevates me so i dont do colors.

Plague-Doc-Matteo In reply to supernova38 [2011-07-25 05:54:17 +0000 UTC]
Yeah. That's the problem Most MOCers have, to really be able to MOC properly it requires a certain amount of parts. I've got lots of parts but I am limited to what came in the sets. And I usually only got two of many of the sets from 2006 and back. I'm not trying to brag though. If you look at the top MOCers here, they'll all tell you they've invested a good amount of money into their collection. Back when I go it, my allowance often went to bionicles. Now its to the point where its a hobby and talent that requires due nurturing, but sadly I'm poorer than ever. I'm 22, so no more allowance, and our economy has proven most difficult for me to find a job. Its not easy thing to do this, like anything it requires hard work and resources.

well, I only have 8 on the channel, I'm too lazy right now to get the links, but see "Brimstone V3", "Brimstone Origin Form", and "Tyrannis, Overlord of the Netherworld" for my best MoC's.

Plague-Doc-Matteo In reply to moreasul [2011-07-16 03:30:36 +0000 UTC]
Well that's not an easy question to answer. I didn't build him and leave him alone. He's a continuing work in progress, I had had him for a couple years by this stage, he's had several version before this one. He's being massively over hauled to. So the best answer is "I started working on him in 2007.

HEHE Thank you. Ryakk is from 2004 and up. Actually I take that back, Mototar started in 2006 initially it was 2007 that he got the main design you see here. The torso gave me a lot of problems for a while, I finally nailed it with this one, and now I've just tweaked it and improved in little spots here and there.
Its hard for me to keep track of when I started on who cause I don't have pictures of the early ones with dates or anything. I didn't even have a computer or camera to take pictures with till 2009.

sounds like it'd be useful for u to write the date on a piece of paper and shove it in one of the little cracks between the pieces so u can keep track ^^

HAHAHAHAH That's funny. That'd be a neat trick actually work on a MOC and on each one there's a little tiny compartment for a piece of paper and you always keep that on the MOC. Call it the "black box." Its too late for me though. I already can't remember which versions were which.

most people think they're pretty good at bionicle, then they see this and cut themselves because they're never gonna be as good as this. you NEEEED to work for lego

Plague-Doc-Matteo In reply to thecoolmandan [2011-06-04 05:07:06 +0000 UTC]
Thanks. I think there's some MOCers on here who are as good or better than me, it depends on how you look at it. But in the general MOCing community there's definitely better MOCers, but they have more to work with. I'd love to work for lego, but those are very hard jobs to get.

Then he and I came to the same conclusion then. [link] This was built and uploaded in 2010, so I've had my design a little while. I used four of those on mine though. It was a neat hammer to, Atlas just couldn't hold it.
