Description
Okay, this is my second giant monstrosity. His name is mototaur. He is a minotaur with roller blade feet. He has a pneumatic (air) powered hip/ suspention system. He also has a bohrok head morning star for a weapon. This figure is more mechanically technical than Ryakk, my other insanely large Bionicle MOC. I plan on rebuilding this figure, because functionally, he isn't right yet. There are still a lot of bugs to work out. Look wise I think he's great. He is very menacing. When his torso and legs are fully extended he measures at about two and a half feet. The wheels on his feet allow for smooth movement if he were to run or attack. Again with this model, all the joints move and are articulate. He even has those weird minotaur legs. This model presents a lot of technical and mechanical challenges that I have already and need to have met. I enjoy working this figure the most because he is the hardest.*update* I changed this picture on this. His feet have been updated and redone, and they're also about to be redone again. But for now this is the current version.

It requires that you have the parts to do so in the first place, but it also took a lot of time, lots of redesigning and improving over time. None of my big guys were built over night, and they've all had several revamps, totally changing things in their designs. Mototaur's body was pretty different at first.

Yeah! Actually, I have looked through their galleries quite recently, and was impressed with their creations as well! I especially liked 's Halo figures

He does a lot of really good stuff, but its a drastically different approach than mine, and some other MOCer's here. He's probably the most poplular MOCer on DA, but he's been here for a while and has more impressive builds, and comes out with new ones often to. But he's not very sociable with other MOCers. He doesn't fave other people's work and doesn't take part in the community, which is quite sad given his talent and potentially valuable input.

Well it does help to have the pieces to do something like this, but its mostly about how you put what you have together, like with my smaller MOCs. But really I just sat down with the general concept of "minotaur" in my head and started working on it, then I added the "moto" part as I was building cause of how unique that'd make him. To get my MOCs this good I go through a refinement process, where I continue to work on the designs, improving where I can till I feel I can't any more.
Years of buying bionicle and technic sets. A lot of hard work, time and money went into my collection and MOCs. If you want to be great at anything you better be ready to work hard for it.
