Concept for Toria transportation. This one would be the equivalent of your average car. It's a two-seater, but there's room for two more behind the cockpit.It's not intended for use inside the city limits, as it's rather too large for that. Seeing one of these in the city would be like seeing an APC in your downtown area. It's more of an off-road vehicle, meant to go for long distances at high speeds.
Top speed: 200mph approx.
Fuel: Standard rechargeable battery
Weight capacity: 900lbs approx.
Length: 20ft
Width at wings: 8ft
Price: 20,000 credits (12,000 USD approx.)

wow, that's actually fairly inexpensive of a vehicle, and I'm trying to figure out how muc it weighs, and how that impacts the battery life, since it's got to keep itself aloft... Very large battery indeed.

Yeah it's inexpensive. It's just a generic off-roader, so really doesn't need to cost much. I'm going to post the classy stuff later.
The keeping itself aloft bit actually has to do with a mineral found on Toria that, when electrically charged, repels the planet's gravitational field and causes the object to levitate. The more power put into the mineral the higher the levitation. That probably wouldn't work IRL, but I really don't give a damn.

it would have to be a very complex alloy, probably a structure actually built of graphite nanotubes to shuttle about electricity to make some form of super-dense electromagnet... probably...

yeah, magic rock it is. Because to everyone else it would just be some very oddly shaped hunk of shiny black stuff, that kinda sparked on occassion and made a faint humming sound as it was charged and discharged. Would be quite interesting to contemplate, and equally difficult to make,as carbon nanotubes are time consuming to produce.
