It helps a lot ^^ I only fail at body proportions XD I mean, sometimes I do the head normal but the body too small or sometimes too big XD

Just remember to check the shapes sizes twice before you'll decide to make body out of them

You can use normal colored pencil of any colour, just make a soft lines with it

i know this seems silly but i can't draw the torso right, you know the hips/tummy

what exacly gives You the most trouble?
the torso (from shoulders to waist) need to be shaped as inverted triangle one height of Head long and the waist-hips part needs to be half as long and be like normal triangle. wideness of hips needs to be the same as shoulders or even a bit more.

I scan them and then Color digitally in PaintTool SAI recently.
I was taking photos when my scanner was broken, but it ruins whole picture (especially proportions)
