Requested picture for .This request goes back to the days before I joined DeviantArt - back when Jade and I were talking Predator trivia on Elfwood. She disappeared for a while, presumably to visit the homeworld and get one phase of her education finished. Now she's back with a vengence, much to my delight.
Done with ink, watercolor and colored pencil.

LOL, again. Thank you! We tried several different color schemes for her armor originally, and Jade finally settled on "Desert Storm" camo. This is another character that I want to revisit. The human behind the character recently saw Predators and said that she wants me to try incorporating a bit of Mister Black into Jade's design. PLUS desert camo.

Oldie-but-goodie, too. I think Jade's going to have me update the character based on Mr. Black from the new movie. Bigger, meaner, but still decked out in desert camo.

Thank you. Jade was fairly precise about how she wanted that armor to look. She's got a good eye for details and it was a pleasure to translate it into the character's design.

Thanks very much! She took me a long time to finally finish. I did the initial designs several years ago, then lost track of the gal for whom I'd designed the character. I caught up with her again here at DA, and the character practically jumped out of my pencil in her present form.

Whoa, Rachael! What a beautiful predator picture! Your talent at drawing predators never ceases to amaze me... They're always perfect... Tehir armors are always so detailed and gorgeous, yet a bit creepy too. That long curvy sword makes me drool... again. XD I always drool at those swords you draw for these predators. They're such magnificent weapons. I's gladly take one for myself if I could!

I love to draw all of the details into the armor, and I love designing the curves and spines of the blades (both swords and wrist knives). I think those things have become my favorite part of my Predator drawings, and they are the reason I keep doing so many of them.
