Description
Finally got Akemi colored. She went through a hair color change.
From formerly blue to pink. I decided the brown and black would more suit this shift to warmer colors.

I get that a lot about the ribs. I'd say that's just my style, but how would you suggest making them not as prominent?

I agree with the brown idea but you could also try some light to mid weight shades of the color on the person (in this case pink). You want to make sure people can see but don't make it so heavy as to seem extremely deep.
Though honestly i don't know exactly how to fix the problem.

I think either of those suggestions'd probably do the trick. I plan to try it on my next few pieces and see if it makes a difference.

-quiet critique on ribs- Use shades of browns for the outline instead of black or gray. I love it bro, but I think she should have stayed with bluish tones for the hair. Haha, but sometimes you can't control those things eh?

Oh, and I plan on getting your family drawing colored next, by the way. I got about a third of it done yesterday and plan on working on it some more tomorrow. I woke up sick this morning so I can't do much today or I'd say I'd finish it tonight.

Yeah, I liked the blue too, but the pink works fine if that's her preference. 
And that's a good idea for the ribs. That should keep that area softer looking. I'll do that next time.
