Description

The Obbeeysian Duke class was designed by Quinn Fulton in 1904. This class of 0-4-2 tender engines were another successful design in her developing line of industrial steam engines. This design wasn’t the most powerful or fast, but it was cheap to build and perfect for starting businesses. This class was originally built with boilers with boiler pressure of 190 psi, this being increased several times over the years during overhauls.

The prototype was bought by the Peesh Coal Mining Company, as well as a faceless member of this class. The prototype was a shy steamer at first, but after having its internals redone in 1914, it became an excellent steamer.
