i will be using photoshop cs2 for this tutorialthis tutorial is best suited for photos of the same light and colouring as the 'before'!
if it isn't there already, bring up the layers palette by going to window > layers.
1. go to layer > new adjustment layer > selective colour, and when the 'selectve colour options' window pops up, check method 'relative'.
reds
cyan: -39
magenta: +7
yellow: -9
black: +26
yellows
cyan: -20
magenta: +7
yellow: -36
black: -22
magentas
black: +24
whites
cyan: +35
magenta: -42
yellow: +16
black: +24
neutrals
cyan: +3
magenta: -3
yellow: -4
black: +11
blacks
cyan: +5
magenta: -10
yellow: -5
black: +6
2. again, go to layer > new adjustment layer > selective colour, and keep the relative setting.
reds
cyan: -23
magenta: +12
yellow: -47
black: +5
3. now go to layer > new fill layer > solid colour and enter #F1F0C3. set this layer to multiply at 100% opacity.
4. go to layer > new fill layer > solid colour again and enter #1E1D37. set this layer to lighten at 60% opacity.
5. go to layer > new adjustment layer > curves and make sure the channel is set to rgb. click near the bottom of the grid and enter this:
input: 32
output: 18
now click on the grid again, this time nearer the top.
input: 226
output: 217
click on the grid once more, in the middle this time.
input: 120
output: 127
now merge your layers and you're done!
