Create.swf extended manual .
If you want to backup/transfer your save data you can try using this.
Updates:
9/7/17: The scene title is now abbreviated when it gets too long.
9/4/17: The camera can now be manipulated with the middle mouse button(hold shift/control to zoom/rotate). The camera can also be zoomed by holding control and using the mouse wheel. Disabling auto prop size now uses the correct speech bubble size. Zooming the camera no longer makes images difficult to click on.
8/13/17: Prop effect "attached" bugfixes and improvements, "attached" effect now handles flipping correctly. Prop effects can now have their targets changed from their options menu.
8/11/17: Added effects "outline" and "attached" .
7/26/17: Fixed hair color saving issue. Added effect:"theater mode = hide".
7/24/17: Added "Hat" to character detach menu. renamed shoe "Minoriko" to "Barefoot". Yoshika arms and Barefoot now work with custom skin colors. Fixed a vanilla create.swf compatibility issue(correct backgrounds should load from old saves now).

Find any issues, or have a feature request? Then let me know.(Hard drive died , and lost motivation so new updates are unlikely.)
I'm not an artist though, if there's any prop/background/character you want you'll want to look here first, if they don't have it yet you can try making a request there.

How do you use the custom background which you use html coding.

Between difficulties getting artists assets covert properly into flash, and having the hard drive containing the recent versions of the code die, I'm not sure when this will happen.

So um... I know I just asked something, but...
Is there a way to change skin color individually on removed arms?
If you detach arms from something that doesn't use the default skin color, the detached arms will still be in the default color.
Using the 'change color' option in effects doesn't seem to do much, but there are other workarounds I can use if need be.
There's also the fact that the RGB code for skin color gets reset to the character's hair color whenever you go to edit it. The color sliders are still in the right places, though, and clicking on any of them fixes this (until the next time you open the skin color menu, at least). The skin color won't actually change to the faulty RGB unless you click on the RGB field (even if you don't change it).
EDIT: Oh, and um, while I'm at it...
Detached accessories retain a mouth. I'm guessing they're not supposed to do that.

I was just wondering... is it possible for you to make it easier to move between and shift parts?
Currently, the scene name is displayed in the top left corner of the screen, along with the part number.
However, if the scene name is ten or more characters in length, the part number will be completely cut off, making it difficult to navigate longer scenes. An obvious workaround, of course, would be to just abbreviate the title so it is less than nine characters (so you can view part numbers in the double digits).
The other potential issue is that parts can only be moved by swapping with other parts. This works fine on small scenes, but on larger ones it can be difficult to properly swap the parts. Making it possible to, say, drag and drop a part could be useful. While the ability to name individual parts for reference in a large scene might be helpful, I imagine that most people would never need that feature.
I'm specifically mentioning this now because these things inconvenienced me while I was working on the near 100 part long animation for Gii's collab, and I imagine if I (or anyone else, for that matter) were to try animating something for the Halloween Spooktacular, this might be helpful.
If this is too much trouble for you, I can always just shorten the scene name and be extra careful to do parts properly the first time.

I've update create.swf extended, I added the scene title abbreviation feature.
The current menu system seems like it doesn't work well with mouse manipulation and even more so button moving, so I didn't add the drag and drop feature.

You know, I noticed that if you chain a bunch of attached props together (at least four for a good effect) and then rotate the "base" of the chain, it gives a pretty cool "drag effect" (dunno how to accurately describe it, think of it like a swishing tail or whip or rope).
I don't know if this was intentional, but if it wasn't I'd like to request that you don't remove/fix it (or if you must remove/fix it, give an option to toggle/re-enable it) Since I like the effect and can see many uses out if it.

oh, I actually didn't notice that. it only works if you do it starting in order from the base outwards if you do it in reverse the effect is instant so you don't get the neat delay effect. I can't think of a reason that I would "need" to fix it so it will likely stay.

Hmm, any idea why the text boxes always spawn in at 170 scale now?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
rsgmaker In reply to SagashiIndustries [2017-08-18 00:20:37 +0000 UTC]
That's the auto prop scale feature , it makes any props you add somewhat proportionate to the background's scale.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
SagashiIndustries In reply to rsgmaker [2017-08-18 00:27:04 +0000 UTC]
I turned that off but it's still doing it for the bubbles ONLY. Props spawn in normal. but even with no background at all, Bubbles spawn in at 170
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
rsgmaker In reply to SagashiIndustries [2017-08-18 20:54:54 +0000 UTC]
It is proportionate to the background even if it's set as none(invisible). All but image props are affected, but speech bubbles are affected twice over to try and improve readability of bubbles that haven't been adjusted.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
SagashiIndustries In reply to rsgmaker [2017-08-18 21:07:17 +0000 UTC]
So it's SUPPOSED to always be at 170 no matter if the background is at 100, 170, or 500.

rsgmaker In reply to SagashiIndustries [2017-08-18 21:45:15 +0000 UTC]
Oh, I see what you're saying now, even with the feature turned off it's still not using the original default scaling, I forgot I scaled things up the way I did for bubbles. It'll be fixed next update.

Go into your options and check the "last update" box under settings and make sure it's a valid date if something is off, write "8/13/2017" (without the quotations of course) into the box and hopefully it will work next update. If it still doesn't work your flash may be having issues connecting online or something.

Is the menu supposed to be really tiny on high-resolution (ex. 2560 x 1660) monitors? Mine looks something like this i.imgur.com/yQjd9ob.png (not pictured: the rest of my screen because then it would be too huge of an image)

Hey, me and some friend of mine have noticed a problem.
Everytime you change the hair color of a character in a scene, and you reload that scene, it always defaults back to the original hair color. I tired it with the 2nd most recent version, but It didn't do the same thing, so It's just this version.

I noticed a new issue with the latest update: theater mode won't activate if the scene menu is open.
I just thought of another suggestion: would it be possible to designate props (both custom and stock) to disappear in theater mode? In other words, could the user decide which ones would disappear (or rather, become entirely transparent)?
