I dared to imagine, what if there was a cinematic universe that had help from multiple film studios, much like how a video game can appear on multiple consoles? Get out of here, Sony Cinematic Universe.

PHASE ONE
Following the success of the Super Mario Bros. Movie, Illumination announces the production of two spinoffs, Donkey Kong The Movie (with Michael Cera as Diddy Kong) and Luigi's Mansion The Movie (with Mark Hamill as King Boo). Meanwhile, Nintendo hires Studio Ghibli for a Legend of Zelda film adaptation, and Dreamworks for an Earthbound adaptation featuring the voice of Michael J. Fox as everyone's favorite psychic boy Ness. Finally, Tara Strong voices Kirby in the pink puffball's first ever feature film. All of these heroes then join a mysterious fighting tournament in Nintendo + Illumination Presents: The Super Smash Bros. Movie (I just realized that "Nintendo + Illumination Presents" is grammatically incorrect, but I'm too lazy to change the image)

PHASE TWO
Illumination and their fellow animated film studios eventually decide "hey, we really need to stop putting "movie" in our movie titles." So they cut that shit out, and get to work on origin flicks for all the other Mario characters. Super Princess Peach follows said princess' journey of becoming self-sufficient, and Mario & Luigi shows us how the two brothers became Brooklyn's greatest plumbers. Brie Larson is cast as the voice for Samus Aran, giving us gamers some much needed representation in the film industry. Oh, and I'm gonna assume Chris Pratt reprises the role as Mario in the event that Marvel Studios goes bankrupt. Anyway, up next we have the long overdue Star Fox adaptation, featuring YouTube veterans Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox. If that man can voice a bird from Angry Birds, he can voice a bird from Star Fox. Studio Ghibli produces their first ever sequel, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. No, the Lupin movies don't count as Studio Ghibli sequels! Fox, Falco, Samus, and Pit (he's kind of like the Hawkeye of the NCU) join the Smash veterans in Super Smash Bros: Subspace Emissary, a loose adaptation of the story mode from Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

PHASE THREE
Padding out the Super Mario origin flicks, we have Yoshi's Island, which follows Yoshi being stuck with the task of raising a Baby Mario. WarioWare, Inc. gives us Wario voiced by Danny Devito, in a mockumentary about the founding of the titular video game studio. In Star Fox 2, Fox and co. meet their greatest rivals, Team Star Wolf. Fay and Miyu are also there. Dreamworks makes a prequel to their Earthbound movie, titled Earthbound Beginnings. Michael J. Fox voices a different but very similarly looking kid named Ken. Although he's called Ninten in the Japanese version. Mario VS Donkey Kong gives us a darker follow-up to the first Super Mario movie, as Mario faces off against his old nemesis's grandson. Nailed it. Uh, Isabelle from Animal Crossing is introduced in that movie, but Animal Crossing doesn't get their own movie until Phase 4. The third Zelda movie gives us four Links, and shows us the origin of Ganon. But again, that pays off in Phase 4. Finally, we have the two big crossover events: Super Smash Bros: Ultimate World of Light (that's the full title), and Super Smash Bros: Reset. The first half of this epic saga gives us a full-scale war between the Smashers and the forces of Galeem. The second half shows the struggle our heroes face trying to rebuild their broken world. As the name suggests, it ends with them successfully resetting the damage done by Galeem, and setting the stage for Phase 4.

And that's as far as I can "predict." I doubt anything like this will actually happen. But hey, Sonic the Hedgehog's third movie is already greenlit, so anything's possible. Thank you, Sonic.
