The two appear to be getting along just fine, here, unlike my Kimba vs. Simba series. They're not focused on who copied who, but just enjoy each other's company here. After all, they have much in common. (don't jump on me for that last sentence

The Lion King is shot by poachers in the presence of his three cubs as part of Shere Khan the Bengal tigerβs plot to overthrow the king from his throne. Young Simba β son of the Lion King β suspects something strange, and subconsciously senses that the Tiger will one day be his greatest enemy. Simba and his two sisters are adopted into a wolfpack (the same pack that had previously raised Mowgly the man-cub). The wolves and the other animals of the Jungle will teach our friends everything they need to know.

There is an anime called "Kimba, the White Lion". From that series, there is a movie called "Jungle Emperor Leo". (Google for a longer, more detailed description)

While the names and designs are similar the stories are completely different. To compare Kimba is much more like Robin Hood or the man in the Iron Mask, The Lion King is more like Hamlet.

This may have nothing to do with the conflict, but I'd also like to point out to people who feel this argument is just oh so serious, Kimba was a rare white lion, born of a gene commonly found in captivity. Thats just my two cents. This piece of art is adorable.

They never were enemies, IMO. I made the K vs. S pictures as a reflection of how many of the fans act: like one is superior over the other. I'm not here to point out who was first or who is better. My point here, with this picture, is to show that it's not a sin or the end of the world to like both lions.

If you read into the plot of The Lion King and the Kimba Series you can see that Disney totally ripped off Osamu Tezuka. I mean even name wise. . . Kimba; Simba. My conclusion; Disney sucks and is unoriginal.

You know I never even know who was kimba about a couple of years ago^_^ but I am a fan of both Lion King and Kimba The White LionXD so to tell you the true it would have not matter to me that they were compared so closely^_^ simba did have no fight but he improved, kimba had to learn that fighting at the right times was a good idea unless you wanted to be killed

Male lions well some times seek an other lone lion and then they join up and then there are two to fight the old pride so the news ones can take over.
