Hi all.

This is my latest work. It is a actual 3D object, a bit post-pro for better colours etc, but it is just one render, not two renders combined or so. It is modelled and rendered with Blender 2.41 and post-processed with Photoshop. It is based on the litho Up and Down by M.C. Escher. C&C is highly appreciated.

It looks fluid! Like it's made of something soft that you can deform with your hands. I love Escher, and this is a very good imitation.

that's amazing. I knew I recognized this right away and thought you ripped it and colored it until I saw it is 3d art, and that there were no kids. briliant modeling! You should release a B&W version.

did you model it twice or did you just add a symmetry modifier ( i don't know the reffering blender tool name, i always only worked with 3dsmax)

keep that up, this is really incredibly good - but you already know that, check the view/fav count...

Its just so mind boggling trying to figure out how you would structure this in 3d, since in a way, what we are seeing here is an actual 3d scene
