Oh Disney, you used to put out some quality cartoons back in the day. Now look at you: every other show is a live action spin off of every other live action spin off. How many cartoons do you even still have! Phineas & Ferb, and... and... AND?No seriously, if anyone out there knows of a cartoon that plays on the Disney channel that's STILL RUNNING, I would like to know. 'Cause everything that comes to my mind is live action. At least Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon have the decency to keep it relatively even...
*Sigh* Here's a fight between 2 Disney characters.
Jake Long: A young dragon, it is JaKe Long's duty to protect the magical community from evil forces, all while keeping its very existence a secret. That's no easy task, even with a host of dragon powers at his disposal!
Kim Possible: A teenage super-spy, Kim Possible claims she can do anything; and so far she's been absolutely right. With an array of gadgets and her boyfriend Ron, Kim's saved the world more then once!
So what will it be? Magical powers or Sci-Fi weapons? Wings or Jet Packs? Fire Breath or Lasers? Only YOU can decide
WHO! IS! DEADLIEST!

Kim wins due to more experience, smarts and agility. We have seen how Jake struggles to fight Rose, who, like Kim, is a non-powered girl with great fight skills.

I'd rather have Ron against Jake. In this instance? Probably Jake. He's already faced an overachieving cheerleading martial arts teenager.

There is only two ways this will end and both require a certain condition to be met....
Kim possible wins if she has times to study her opponent, she isΒ strategic fighter who when not fighting her regulars, actually do require wade's analysis on the situation as well as her own. This would also her give her the time to obtain the toys needed to counter Jake.
Jake Long wins if is a spur of the moment deal. He surpasses her in every aspect except experience and intelligence, and when he actually takes a situation seriously, he has show to even be tactical at times, and able to adapt quickly.

Jake instantly breathes fire, burning Kim to death.

That's pretty much how the fight would go.

But Kim is used to fight superhuman opponents... and Jake struggles to fight Rose and The Huntsman, who are normal humans with lots of fighting training. And Kim can dodge laser shots, and Shego's flame/plasma attacks, so she can avoid the fire attacks too.

Not to mention Kim dominates at least 15 fight styles and she has much more experience than Jake. Plus we have seen how Jake struggles when fighting humans with enough equipment and battle training.

My point was you said a normal human beating a dragon like Jake is laughable, but Rose proves that is more than possible. Kim is not some bum off the street, she has plenty of combat experience fighting all sorts of deadly big bads. She is also quite athletic and smart so she wouldn't just stand around and let Jake roast her. She also has a huge technological edge over Jake and her battle suit would easily allow her to match Jake physically. So there is no reason why Kim couldn't beat Jake.Β

Also wouldn't the tech suit be considered prep, something that isn't allowed in Death Battle.

Why would the battle suit be considered prep? It is a piece of equipment Kim uses. An example of prep time would be Batman, studying a shark-based villain, and then bringing an anti-shark ray to the battle with him.
Kim has never fought a dragon, but her rival Shego specializes in fire-like energy attacks. And she has beaten Shego plenty of times. She also beaten many opponents more physically gifted than her and/or with crazy powers/technology. So a dragon wouldn't be much worse than what she has already dealt with in the past.

While both are experienced, I would have to say that Kim, being older, would have more. She also seems to have a more varied style of martial arts. Kim also has a plethora of gadgets to use, and depending on when in her series the battle takes place, may have her Super-Suit.
Jake though, has all the advantages of a dragon body. He is far more durable then Kim, his tail provides a versatile extra appendage, and he can fly under his own power. He can breath fire and has a limited grasp of magic (though I can't say this is a power he'd use, given that he never seems to in the show).

I actually think Kim could win. She's pretty experienced in dealing with the supernatural, has more experience overall, is just as good if not better at Martial Arts, and her gadgets match or overcome Jake's dragon powers.

Nice. Two of Disney's iconic heroes of the 21st century going head-to-head. I'm going to have to go with Jake Long. Not only does he also know Kung-Fu, but he is a meta-morph. That alone should put him on top.
Personally, though, I'd like to see him go against Ron Stoppable. The true master of Mystical Monkey Kung-Fu. Tai-Shing-Pequa.

Comparing Jake and Kim, the latter is more experienced due to age but the former has fought a number of supernatural creatures.
In terms of planning, Kim's more of the strategist while although Jake is pretty smart and make ingenious plans. Kim's still a straight A student.

By the way, besides Phineas and Ferb, there's also Gravity Falls. There are several Disney XD action cartoons, but I haven't really watch them aside from the Marvel stuff
