Description
I sense a disturbance in the Force... it says that in Space, no one can hear you scream!Xenomorphs: The Aliens from the film of the same name, these creatures are killing machines able to adapt and survive on virtually any planet. With claws that can rend steel and acid in their veins, can anything stop the spread of this menace?
Jedi: Guardians of the Universe, rebels against the Empire, and masters of the mystical Force; these are the Jedi. They train day and night to wield great power; though whether they use it for the Light or Dark side remains the choice of the individual. With Lightsaber in hand, they are truly a force to be reckoned with.
So, who would you choose for the oncoming struggle? The constantly changing and adapting Aliens; who are faster, stronger, and more vicious then any human, and would love nothing more the to feast on the flesh of some Jedi, before offering the rest to the horrifying Facehuggers? Or the Jedi, who in order to prevent the spread of the Xenomorph scourge will bring all the power of the Force down on them, along with a little bit of Lightsaber-ing for good measure? It's up to you to decide:
WHO! IS! DEADLIEST!
(Disclaimer: Just to be clear, these two combatants were created / are owned by people far more creative / wealthier then me. I have made this, not for profit, but in the hopes of encouraging spirited discussion among fans. Please support the combatants official series. Thank you, that is all).

Jedi! (easily when experienced)
They are much much faster than the Xenomorphs and if that weren't enough they have a whole bunch of abilities that make any stealth attempt by the Xeno impossible.
So i really don't see any way how the alien could defeat a Jedi.

Xenomorphs are ambush predators heavily dependent on the plot just so happening to take place somewhere they can sneak around.
The Jedi have both precog, and simply the ability to sense the presence of life forms.
Xenomorphs are strong, durable, and have acid blood.
The Jedi have TK that can just pick them up off the ground rendering that strength largely useless, and lightsabers that can both cut through armor and tends to cauterize what it cuts.
Most Xenomorphs are little more then somewhat clever animals.
Jedi have a Force trick that allows them to clam and commune with animals.
... Jedi are pretty much a hard counter to Xenomorphs on every level.

Now this is interesting and quite a challenge to think who would win.
We know that Xenos cannot be sensed through thermals without a special setting from the Predators. But the Force is tricky as it would give the Jedi a great advantage. However, here's something that I don't thing anyone has ever think of.
Do the Xenos even have a connection or would they be like the Yuuzhan Vong and have no connection?
If the Xenos have no connection then the Jedi just lost their greatest advantage and would be about as lost as the Colonial Marians if they ambush. If they adopt stealth tactics and cut them down one-by-one like the Nostromo, how long would the Jedi's training last before they break?

The Jedi aren't stupid enough to try to capture a live xenomorph for "study" and eventual use as a bio-weapon. With their Force Senses and ability to predict the future, they're less likely to be taken by surprise when facehuggers and chestbursters being to appear, or when adult xenomorphs pop out of the shadows. Besides, lightsabers cauterize wounds, meaning there'll be little acid blood spilled when the two groups fight- at worst, the Jedi can throw lightsabers like boomerangs and destroy the xenomorphs from a distance.
The Jedi win, unless some hack writer (cough! Karen Traviss! Kevin J. Anderson! cough!) lobotomizes them.

the Jedi will win this, due to a combination of Force abilities, Force enhanced senses (and since the type of stealth the Xenomorphs use doesn't mask there prescence from the force there primary way of killing is effectivly shut down), and Lightsabers

If those are canonical Jedi from the movies, then Xenomorph would win. Yes, Jedi from the movies have telekinesis but they are idiots and they are using mind powers rather seldom - instead they rely on their lightsabers. Bad idea when you are fighting against enemies who bleed acid...
As for the cauterisation argument this won't happen - didn't you guys seen first movie, remember what happened when Ash was trying to use laser scalpel on facehugger?:

Much as I love Xenomorphs, the Jedi would clearly win. Xenos may be able to rip through steel, but a lightsaber would cut through them like butter. The force may also alert a jedi to them being around, disabling their usual advantage of stealth. With enough range on a lightsaber, a jedi wouldn't even be phased by the acid blood. Acid can't damage light.Β

This is kind of an odd one. See, saying Jedi Vs Xenomorph, is kind go like saying a Super Hero Vs a Super Villain. There are countless different Jedi, and all of them have their own unique abilities, personalities, strengths and weaknesses. If it was Qui Gon Jinn and Obi Wan vs the Xeno Morph, I'd give it to them.
The Lightsabers would give the Jedi the Advantage, since they can basically cut through anything, and cauterize wounds as they make them, but the Xenomorphs talent for stealth is legendary. Thus, it would come down to how many Xenomorphs there were, and just how good at sensing the Jedi were, and how much information they possessed.

NatanusLikens [2014-04-28 15:31:08 +0000 UTC]
Jedi would win.Β First they have the force through which they could sense any Xenomoprh coming towards them.Β Second Lightsabers cauterize flesh when they go through so no acid blood anywhere.Β Not to mention the number of possible force powers that would defeat Xenomorphs without the use of a lightsaber: Force Lightning and Telekinesis for example.
Frankly this would be a Xenomorph slaughter fest.

Hmm, this is interesting. I think that a force user would be able to sense the force signature of the xenomorphs, and once they learn just how dangerous those fuckers are, they'd be pretty quick to respond. I don't think that they'd execute the "infected" (I mean they're supposed to be the moral beacons of the galaxy), but with the force I'm fairly sure they would be able to deal with the xenos effectively. However, if the xenos can reproduce enough to the point without the Jedi knowing what's going on, then they should be able to overrun the Jedi just by sheer force of numbers. It's logic, no matter how powerful you may be, no matter how skilled, no matter how refined, if you are up against a hundred, a thousand, a million of a vastly under equipped, inferior enemy, they'll still be able to swarm you to the point where you're suffocating.Β

Unless the jedi use some sort of explosive. Force or not. Numbers don't mean shit when holes are blown in. But the aliens do have those face huggers, so there will be a variety of xenos. the xeno are the distinct underdogs here. what with the whole 'force' thing against them. and they dont have a great history of being as deadly as the alien series has us remembering. granted in the movies and books a very few of these guys spells death and destruction for whole ships and planets... but lets take a closer look. the xenos in the first movie were against little more then a transport crew mostly unarmed. its no wonder they lost most everyone in such a setup ( + androidΒ situation). in the 2nd movie we get what would appear to be a more fair fight we have moderately well armed marines (there was more potent weaponry they could have been using but were not allowed to bring with them or i nthe case of the coolant towers were not able to use for fear of detonation) who have combat experience. we see that the xeno suffer at minimum what 20 to 1 casualties? (not counting the auto turrests sene in the hallway) not exactly as intimidating no their powers not from being an efficient and effective killer... its their over whelming numbers advantage their stealth and their ability to survive extreme conditions (ie space). even compaired to the AVP series the preditors sent what 3 (pre) warriors against hundreds of xeno as a training exercise to earn their hunters honor. no I think its safe to say the jedi have this fight handled unless we make use of an excessive number of xeno and simply crush the jedi with our dead....

Both are melee oriented and able to work in groups effectively, but Jedi have one major advantage: the Force and the powers it bestows upon them(telekinesis, precognition, super human strength, speed, and stamina just to name a few). I would assume that a lightsaber would cauterize the wounds left behind, therefore preventing, or at least limiting, damage from acid blood. I say the Jedi have the skills to take the Xenomorpsh down. However, should the Xenomorphs outnumber them significantly enough, the Jedi would be rather quickly overwhelmed just like they were by Order 66. But in a straight up one on one battle the Jedi would win, although they would take losses.

Jedi: Force sense trumps Stealth and Underestimation, Force powers (Push, choke, Mind trick, Heal, and so on) Light saber has the potential to burn wounds on Xenos preventing Acid bleed (unlikely but possible), countless days of training in both mind and body prepares them against Fear and Faulter, Jedi Religion spans countless species and generations making its effectiveness proven against even better armed foes.
Xenomorph: Equipped with natural Weapons(Claws, Teeth, Tail, pharyngeal jaws and Acidic blood)Acidic blood at high pressure damages (if not kills) anything it touches, Pack hunters link telepathically in a Hive mind makes team work seamless, ability to learn on the fly makes every attack more dangerous and unpredictable, capable of vanishing into almost every environment and moving without making even the slightest sound.

Not necessarily, You see an exoskeleton is a bone structure on the outside of a body, turtles, crustaceans , some bugs.
even some humans with certain genetic disorders attainΒ exoskeleton-like features... Well science calls it Disorder, I call it character.
Now human technology has made powered Armor for humans, "still in Development" of course which is very much the same save for improving a human capabilities instead of defense against predators.

I think it's better for Jedi to use ranged attacks to avoid acid. Here are the ways for the Jedi to defeat the Xenomorphs:
1)Lightsaber throw.
2)Those who can do the Force Sheild can put it on and go into melee combat so the sheilds will absorb the acid.
3) Use telekinesis to put them into the wents so they can be blown out like Ripley did to them.
And the main thing is to keep distance.
